Purpose of the Position
Under the supervision of the Planning & Policy Manager, support the preparation, monitoring, and control of the funds received for the earthquake emergency programme in Haiti country office.
Key Expected Results
In support of country office oversight, monitor fund utilization KRI and BI reports; alert the Planning and M&E Manager of any significant inconsistencies and/or short-falls in the financial performance compared to the CMT established quarter expenditure thresholds.
Monitor the status of donor reports for the Regional office and all country offices using ProMS, KRI and BI reports. Alert sections of klix donor reports. Draft letters for the Representative to be sent to the section chiefs reminding them the importance to comply with donor reporting requirements.
Receive and compile/tabulate Quarter Management Performance Reports from various programming section to be reviewed and analyzed.
Answer relevant ProMS and budget management queries from colleagues and assist in referring complex issues to relevant RO/HQ sections/staff ensuring that all such queries are timely and fully addressed.
Qualifications of Successful Candidate
Advanced university degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or financial management and
membership - or enrolled for membership - of recognized professional accountancy body.
Five years of relevant professional office management work experience.
National and/or International work experience in office management, finance, accounting, ICT, human resources, supply and administration and/or other related fields,
Work experience in emergency duty station.
Fluency in English and French. Knowledge of the local language (Haitian Creole) an asset.
