#1 Soccer Salute or Chetnik Salute ???

Post by Midas1970 » 04/09/2006 11:02

A question: Some Serbian soccer players have a victory salute, where they wave their 3 fingers... Some claim this is a victory salute, done by all Serbs, Chetnik or not, and some claim this is strictly a Chetnik salute... Which is true ? Thanks....

I first saw it before the war in our country, and continued seeing it during the war.so for me,this is a Chetnik salute and I think that most of the people here share the same opinion...
Is this because of Kezman and his transfer to Fenerbahce?

It has to do something with Ortodox church. Greeks also salute with 3 fingers.

It´s a chetnik salute just like the sieg heil. Not many people know this, but the three fingers comes from the Threird Reich, take a look:

Jedan prst za Oca, drugi za Sina i treci za Duha Svetog.
Vjerski pozdrav.
