Background
Nadzida Ninkovic, B.Sc. (Mech. Eng.) has been an Executive Director of BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo since July 2006 and is managing the activities of the Development Department. Ms. Ninkovic has over 30 years experience gained in the natural gas sector that includes: Designing and implementation of the gasification of the city of Sarajevo, Visoko and Zvornik as a member of designing and supervision team; Planning and designing the heating system in the city of Sarajevo and outside the city of Sarajevo; Chief engineer in the Gas Transportation Department and Head of the Department for Development and Investment in the gas system in B&H by 1992. Managing and participating in the preparation of the Project on Extension of the Gas Transmission Network and the product pipeline running from Bosanski Brod to Zenica (Investment program, Main Design and Tender Documents); Heating Project of the besieged city of Sarajevo and Project Manager for boiler house conversion.; On behalf of B&H, a member involved in the Natural Gas Sector Studies within EU Phare program and SECI project.; Project on natural gas network development in B&H from the very beginning of the founding of BH-Gas as Manager of Development and Marketing Department.; Reforms in compliance with the EU Directives and Preparation of strategic plans, programs and studies. Ms. Ninkovic is a member of the Gas Association of B&H since its founding and other associations related to the energy sector; Member of working groups for preparing Technical regulations and Member of the teams designing software for calculation of gas pipeline networks. She is Author and Co-author of a number of papers and publications dealing with designing, implementation and efficient use of natural gas by the consumers in B&H. After completing the High School, Ms. Ninkovic entered the School of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo and graduated in 1976 in the Energy Department.
