ADSL CONNECT
ADSL Connect is a charging model meant for so-called small users wishing to have a higher transmission rate of the most demanding contents, such as programs (software), games, MP3 databases, video records, animations, etc.
This charging model is provided to users via three service packages: ADSL Connect 1, ADSL Connect 2 and ADSL Connect 5, having the same download i.e. upload rate (512/128 Kb/s) and differing according to amount of GB traffic as included in subscription fee, involving charging for traffic on the basis of additional MB as implemented above the amount included in subscription fee.
The charging model for all three packages includes the following in the monthly subscription fee:
- certain amount of GB traffic,
- usage of transmission rate of 512/128 Kb/s (download rate is 512 Kb/s and upload rate is 128 Kb/s),
- 1 users bill,
- 1 e-mail address of 20 MB capacity within bih.net.ba domain
- dynamic allocation of IP addresses, and
- possibility for connecting entire computers network to Internet, and not only one user´s computer.
Besides these services, all ADSL Connect packages are associated with the basic services as well, such as WWW Browser, FTP, News, Telnet, Proxy, Ping.
ADSL CITO
ADSL Cito is a charging model meant for so-called big users (previously they had access to BIHnet with high transmission rates only via leased line of certain capacity) accessing BIHnet via existing switched telephone network with high transmission rates (download rate is higher than upload rate).
This charging model is provided to users via two service packages: ADSL Cito-C´ and ADSL Cito-C˝ enabling illimited usage of BIHnet (amount of GB traffic is not included in subscription fee and BIHnet traffic is not charged), and differing in transmission rates.
Note:
Both charging models are currently available to subscribers of analogue telephone connections in Sarajevo area, whose numbers belong to the telephone exchanges as located on Malta and Obala Kulina bana.
