Meni se svidjaju muzeju u DC-ju jer su vrlo user-friendly. Nisam stigla sve da obidjem zadnji put kad sam bila tako da ih je dosta na mojoj to-see listi.
Zadnji koji sam posjetila prosle sedmice je bio Fields museum u Chicagu kao i Shedd Aquarium - planetarij smo ostavili za drugi put.

Je li ko isao u novootvoreni muzej Sarajeva - atentata ili kako se vec zove? Izvana je veoma dobro uradjen ali jos nisam nasla vremena da ga posjetim. [/img]

The template for this exhibition is Gates' highly detailed erotic roadmap, documenting ten years of research in the heretofore-uncharted world of Kink. The map serves as both a metaphor and a guide. While it defines the rules and charts the edges of the unfamiliar, it also encourages you to become a tourist. The roadmap includes stops related to Leather, Bondage and Shoe Fetishes and more exotic destinations including Ponyplay, Adult Babies, Macrophilia, Sploshing, Medical Play, Mudlarking, Body Expansion and Furries.

Costumes, props, photographs, videos and original artworks, as well as recreated environments contribute to the highly interactive adults-only playground designed by Jennifer Kinon of Pentagram, which encourages museum visitors to explore and learn about the world of kink and fetish and explain how it captivates the imagination and inspires fantasy.

For more than 65 years, the CAC has been a forum for progressive art and ideas serving the city of Cincinnati and the region. Founded in 1939 as the Modern Art Society by three visionary local women, the CAC was one of the first institutions in the United States dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art.

The CAC established itself as a leader in 1940 as one of the first American institutions to exhibit Picasso's Guernica (1937), which traveled throughout the United States from 1939 to 1952. It has continued this pioneering tradition by featuring the work of hundreds of now-famous artists early in their careers including Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Nam June Paik, I.M. Pei and Laurie Anderson.
