#1 MUCHH vs. IWCS Bazaar?

Post by Asana »

Christmas Markets are especially famous in Europe. It is known as a street market during the advent season and over time, it has taken on a more commercial appeal. MUCHH-Helping Hands & Hearts Christmas Market: Taste & Shop for Charity on 6 December will deviate from its outdoor tradition and will be held in UNITIC, well known as a friendly and cozy haven from the chill of winter. In 2007, it welcomed 2000 visitors in what was then, and still is, an unbeaten record in the history of Christmas bazaars in Sarajevo. The same Chairperson who orchestrated that highly successful undertaking is behind this year’s mega Christmas Market under a different organization called MUCHH-Helping Hands & Hearts Foundation. The Foundation was also the overall NGO partner of global cosmetic firm, Avon in this year’s immensely successful Walk for Life held in Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar.
Unitic Marketing Director, Asem Al-Rawasdeh said of organizer, “I like working with this very professional and organized Foundation. From communications alone, we can immediately see that these are people who are experts in event planning and management, marketing and project implementation. They know exactly what to do and how to do it. They are people with vision and great plans for the children of BiH. I am especially impressed by their tireless energy, positive attitude, enthusiasm and ability to appreciate the people they are working with. They treat us as partners, extend us due courtesy and we, at Unitic, have pledged to throw all support behind this worthwhile endeavor. We can do no less in the face of such dedication from warm hearted volunteers”.
To date, the Christmas Market has confirmed participation from Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Montenegro Tourism Office, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Philippine Tourism Office in London, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, and Turkey. Bosnia & Herzegovina through the efforts of City Review will be joining for the first time. Last November 5, the Dutch Ambassador’s wife, Anne Martine van Voorst tot Voorst hosted a Coffee get together for the Christmas Market.
Heading the distinguished roster of supporters, partners and sponsors are Bosnia Daily, RSG Radio, City Review, SA-Navigator, MoveOne, Terme Riviera Ilidza, Norwegian PX, Malev Airlines, Avon, Logo Asian, Quraishi, Nestle, Cinema City, Apple-Mekline, Siemens, Sam Shop, ECHOS Butmir, Condimento, Café Boulevard, Scutum, Daniel & Michal Trup, Little India and many more.
