Brza cesta B4 je planirana brza cesta u Bosni i Hercegovini, koja bi trebala povezivati Sarajevo, preko Pala i Prače [1] sa Goraždem.
Izgradnja
Ugovor o probijanju glavne i servisne cijevi i izrade primarne podgrade cestovnog tunela Hranjen, što predstavlja početak izgradnje prve faze brze ceste Sarajevo – Goražde potpisan je 22. septembra 2018. godine.
Izvođač radova je Euro-asfalt d.o.o. Sarajevo, Bosna i Hercegovina.
Nadzor nad izvođenjem radova vrši IPSA INSTITUT d.o.o. Sarajevo.
Vrijednost radova je 81.899.883,00 KM sa uračunatim PDV-om, a sredstva u visini od 65 miliona KM su osigurana Odlukom Vlade Federacije BiH iz akumuliranih dobiti BH Telecoma.[2]
Tehničke karakteristike
Tunel Hranjen bit će dug 5,5 kilometara, a sastojat će se od dvije cijevi. Jedna će biti namijenjena za saobraćaj motornih vozila i kroz nju će prolaziti dvije saobraćajne trake, za svaki smjer po jedna. Druga cijev će biti servisna i koristit će se za održavanje tunela, kao i za slučaj eventualnih nesreća u tunelu.
Radi sigurnosti učesnika u saobraćaju tunel će imati 16 prolaza za evakuaciju pješaka, pet poprečnih prolaza za interventna vozila (u slučaju požara) kao i 10 parkirnih niša za zaustavlja vozila u kvaru.
Rok za izgradnju ovog najdužeg cestovnog tunela u Bosni i Hercergovini je 36 mjeseci.
Projekt izgradnje brza ceste duge 19,4 kilometara koja će spojiti Sarajevo i Goražde u poluprofilu vrijedan je 190 miliona KM i podijeljen je u dvije faze. Radovi drugog lota prve faze će uključivati sekundarnu oblogu i opremanje tunela i izradu brze ceste u poluprofilu.
Izgradnja tunela Hranjen predstavlja historijski projekat za Goražde jer će se cestovna udaljenost ovog grada na Drini i Sarajeva sa sadašnjih 95,6 smanjiti na 56 kilometara. S obzirom na kvalitet nove trase, vožnja između Sarajeva i Goražda će trajati svega 45 minuta, umjesto dosadašnji sat i pol.[2]

Izgradnja najdužeg cestovnog tunela u Bosni i Hercegovini ulazi u novu fazu – sada se priprema i ključna saobraćajnica koja će mu dati puni smisao, piše BiznisnInfo.ba.
Riječ je o brzoj cesti Prača – Goražde, projektu koji prati izgradnju tunela Hranjen i koji bi trebao značajno promijeniti prometnu sliku istočne Bosne.
Dok se radovi na tunelu dužine 5,5 kilometara odvijaju već nekoliko godina, naredni korak je izgradnja ostatka trase koja će povezati Goražde s Pračom, a time i sa Sarajevom. Bez ove ceste, tunel ne bi mogao ostvariti svoju punu funkciju.
Eksproprijacija u toku
Autoceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine pokrenule su konkretne aktivnosti na realizaciji projekta.
Nedavno je objavljen javni oglas za sporazumno pribavljanje nekretnina na trasi brze ceste Hrenovica (kod Prače) – Hranjen – Goražde. Time je započet proces eksproprijacije zemljišta, koji je ključan za početak radova na drugoj fazi projekta.

Trasa brze cesta Praća - Goražde sa tunelom Hranjen koji će biti najduži cestovni tunel u BiH
Radi se o:
27 parcela
ukupne površine 14.391 m²
Parcele se nalaze na području Goražda, u katastarskim općinama Hadžići i Podhranjen. Vlasnicima je ponuđena mogućnost sporazumnog rješavanja, a u suprotnom slijedi formalni postupak eksproprijacije.
Podsjetimo, Vlada Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine još je 2022. godine utvrdila javni interes za realizaciju ovog projekta.
Dvije faze jednog ključnog projekta
Cijeli projekat podijeljen je u dvije cjeline, odnosno faze:
tunel Hranjen – 5,5 kilometara
brza cesta – 12,9 kilometara
Ukupna dužina planirane trase, dakle, iznosi 18,4 kilometra. Iako je tunel najzahtjevniji dio, upravo će izgradnja ceste omogućiti njegovo puno iskorištavanje i povezivanje sa postojećom mrežom puteva.
Šta donosi nova cesta
Završetkom projekta, udaljenost između Sarajeva i Goražda bit će znatno skraćena – sa sadašnjih 95,6 na oko 56 kilometara.
Vrijeme putovanja trebalo bi se smanjiti na oko 45 minuta, umjesto sadašnjih sat i po, što će imati direktan utjecaj na ekonomiju, mobilnost i kvalitet života u ovom dijelu zemlje.
Tunel koji mijenja pravila igre
Tunel Hranjen već se godinama smatra jednim od najvažnijih infrastrukturnih projekata u Federaciji BiH.
Planirano je da ima dvije cijevi – glavnu saobraćajnu s dvije trake i servisnu za održavanje i sigurnost. Osim što će biti najduži u državi, riječ je i o tehnički izuzetno zahtjevnom projektu koji je do sada pratio niz izazova i kašnjenja.
Prema posljednjim najavama iz Bosansko-podrinjskog kantona, završetak tunela očekuje se do marta 2027. godine, ukoliko ne bude novih zastoja. Trenutno nije poznato kada će biti okončan cijeli projekat – tunel i brza cesta.

Roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina are the most important traffic branch in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an important part of the European road network. Roads are built, maintained and supervised by companies run by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska. The total length of roads in the country as of 2022 is 8,850 km (5,500 mi), and they are categorized as motorways (total length of 255.7 km (158.9 mi)), main (total length of 4,274 km (2,656 mi)) and regional (total length of 4,345 km (2,700 mi)).[1]
Motorways
The primary high-speed motorways are called autoceste or autoputevi/аутопутеви, public road specially built and intended exclusively for motor vehicle traffic, which is marked as a motorway with a prescribed traffic sign, has two physically separated lanes for traffic from opposite directions with at least two lanes and a lane for forced stopping of vehicles, without intersection with transverse roads and railways or tramways at the same level and in whose traffic it can be included or excluded only by a certain and specially built connecting public road to the appropriate lane of the motorway. They are marked with a special road sign, similar to the road sign depicting a motorway/autoroute/autobahn in other parts of Europe. Motorways in Bosnia and Herzegovina are defined by the Ministry of Traffic and Communications of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska.[2][3]
The Bosnian-Herzegovinian motorway network is 255.7 km (158.9 mi) long as of 2025.

The only part of the highway that passes through Republika Srpska starts at the Johovac junction, with a crossing towards the Banja Luka - Doboj Highway, and ends at the Rudanka junction.
The motorway continues north of Zenica, which also serves as a bypass, and passes west of Sarajevo, with which the bypass is directly connected. The end of the middle part is in Bradina.
South part starts at Počitelj and ends on border with Croatia near Bijača. The motorway follows the Vc corridor along the entire route.[4][5] Several sections are under constructions or planned to connect four separate parts.
Autoput Gradiška - Banja Luka Gradiška - Laktaši - Banja Luka 33.7 km (20.9 mi) The Motorway Gradiška - Banja Luka starts on border of Croatia near Gradiška and follows a route of E661. The highway passes through the Laktaši interchange with the highway towards Doboj, after which it ends north of Banja Luka.[6]
