In regards to Nutricart causing a skin reaction, we have not received any reports of this type of reaction in the 1000's of doses used on horses since its launch 3 years ago and field trails at high doses in the previous 2 years to evaluate any untoward reactions. A reaction on the under belly as you describe, is most likely to be caused by a contact dermatitis from contact with allergic particles in bedding. It would be best to blend in the old with the new bedding for a few days to allow him to become accustomed to the change. Sometimes, damping the bedding with a light spray of water sometimes helps to reduce micro-allergic particle contact with the skin surface.
I hope that the horse with the symptoms of sacroiliac is improving with the massage and walking over poles routine and the supplements of Muscle XL.
