#1 Bosnian Party

Post by ja_sarajevo »

Bosnia & Herzegovina Eurovision entrant, Deen doesn’t seem to need sleep like the rest of us.

Fresh from Saturday’s exhausting round of rehearsals and showing off his pet rabbit, “Gabbana“ to the Press, fashion victim Deen kicked off this year’s Eurovision party season with the Bosnia and Herzegovina party

Image

The 23-year-old –- one of Bosnia’s biggest Pop stars –- was joined by journalists, Eurovision fans and other national Delegation members at Istanbul’s luxury Polat Renaissance Hotel.

Dressed in pink satin trousers and a shirt which left little to the imagination, Deen was the night’s dance floor star.

In true Eurovision style, he grooved to his own entry, “In the Disco” and other Contest hits including last year’s winning song, Sertab Erener’s “Everyway That I Can.”

Also at the party: eurovision.tv spied the Estonian and Serbian Delegations chatting together and Macedonian star, Tose Proeski enjoying a drink with friends.

And Slovenian entrants, Diana and Simon –- due to marry here in Istanbul on 13 May –- were deep in conversation with newly arrived Austrian entrants, Boy Band “Tie-Break.”

i live in istanbul and i watched Deen, live in Eurovision Show 2004 in Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall.

first of all, i have to say that i didnt like Deen. yes its right, for singers and pop stars nowadays it's popular to wear such dresses, and attract klix. but Deen together with his dresses and his behaviours is looking like a gay. excuse me but it's real. he's looking like that.

anybody is free to select his choice for life, but is you are singing for a nation you must be in such way.

I like bosnia, my grandparents are from there, and i frequently visit there, and i maybe live there in the future, but stars like Deen is not good for new young people of Bosnia.

hope to see you in istanbul, or meet in Sarajevo...

The clothes that he wears does NOT attract me.....
I like guys who dress like a man, not like a gay..... :-)
Although it's his personal life but it's just my view.
He is also dancing like a gay..... which is not sexy at all - at least not to me...

BRAD PITT ....... is much better dressed.
Have you seen TROY.... mmmm... he fights like a man because he is a man..... He kisses like a man.. he seduces like a man....
GEORGE CLOONEY... another man looking hot....

Or maybe I just have different taste...
p.s. I am not fond of FEMININE looking guys. ;)

Oh yeah, and those klix probably like Deen because of $$$$$ and popularity.

thanks Muhaz.

someone can say about a people "he is free, he can choose whatever sexual choice himself" that is right... but if you talking about a popular popstar, who is singing in his countries name you cant say such words for that boy !

would you send me an e-mail Muhaz? I want to have contact with you...

It's clear that u are different... For pop singers it s now popular to behave like a gay ! It's the same in here...

There was a singer in Turkiye once who named "Baris Manco". You can find such a great singer from now on here... Because he was a man, he was not doing music to be popular and to have ladies with him...

by the way where are you from Sarajevska Princeza ?

#20 Istanbul i Sa Princezo!!!

Post by suckitup!!! »

E jadni moji uhljupi!!!!

ISTANBUL: Once again and only for you: before judging Deen and such alike, first ask yourself where is your right in scheming and drawing unqualified, improper and bigoted conclusions at the expense of the others!? As for your alleged Bosnian roots, instead of flaunting and parading your ancestry, you should rather feel ashamed of the way Bosniaks like you and your grandparents abandoned Bosnian tradition, culture and language when offered a chance to be filed as "turkish citizens" (!!!) Look at Croatian oversea diaspora populating vast areas from U.S , Argentina, to New Zealand and Australia. None of those late 19th century immigrants has ever let it be known that they adhere to Australian...culture, let alone embraced it, but proudly accented their croat heritage, instead. I`m sickened by people like you pouring moral lessons when they should be taught one themselves!!! Secondly, what part exactly did your Bosnian ancestry play during the Serbo/Croat agression on Bosnia `92-95, when all but one of those 4 million "Turks" with Bosnian roots, including you and your grandparents, chose to be PASSIVE and watch "their beloved country" bombed to shatters???
Sad but true, my TURKISH friend, Iran, Malasian etc. helped Bosnia and Bosniaks way more than our "diaspora in Turkey"!!!

Make us all happy, stay away from SA, Bosnia and our people, and stay Turkish; for both our and your sake!!!

Sarajevska Princezo (cega?, vlastite bahatosti i ogranicenosti???)

pozdrav NORMALNIM!

'majmun' is a bad word to use for a man. i advise you to be polite with the person that u dont know aho is he.

It is easy to write such sentences, but i wonder can u say them to my face !

i just said that i didnt like a singer who is singing in the name of a country; Bosnia. he must not be such i mean, there you have singers like Dino Merlin, or Hari Mata Hari or anyone else... who has normal choices.

My friends here say me by joking "hey can u see ur relatives in Bosnia, they became gay !". Do u like to hear such words because of a singer? Doesnt Bosnia have a better singer ?

Deen can live however he like. But this is an international event, what you did is for your country...

And about your second question, dont worry. There came lots of people from here to protect our lands ! I say our lands !
Because, for me, Bosnian land and Turkish land are the same!

Governmental helps can not be done easily as you said, but dont worry Turkiye is the country which helped most during the war. Just refer to the documents of Alija Izzetbegovic, and see what he says for that days.

Turkey and Bosnia are together. No matter what you think, I wish u rahmet from Allah.

ISTANBUL: Let this idiotic and futile discussion/dispute be settled once and for all:

First of all, yes you wrote prejudiced and bigoted comments at Deen`s expense, displaying your intolerance and primitivism.

Secondly, that I called you Majmun, was because you assaulted gays seeking refuge in Islam`s message and the holy Kuraan, that preach everything BUT intolerance and narrow-mindedness.

What I attempted in my previous message to convey is following: YOU CANNOT EVEN SPEAK Bosnian, let alone speak/do/can anything else which refers to the rich Bosnian culture, BECAUSE your patriotic grandparents chose to be Turkish and embrace the new country`s values and traditions. Don`t mind me asking, rather hypothetically, though: what`s your name and surname? Don`t bother to answer, for I can guess and logic through this myself as well as most of my Bosnian comrades. Go back AND READ what I wrote about Croatian Diaspora!!!!!

Moreover, your country´s "abundant" help came in form of personal checks, and courageous and decent individuals (very few though) who had remained despite this gruesome turmoil faithful to their Bosnian roots. Possibly other money transaction were taking place in the period of `92 to `95 BUT THEY WERE INTENDED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE POCKETS OF THE RICH SDA war profiters, who`ve amassed great fortunes on the misery of other Bosnians.

More to the point, DON`t come to this forum assuming that ALL PARTICIPANTS are Bosniaks-muslims (even if I am), just because YOU ARE!!!! That`s one additional reason which keeps me posting these ridiculous, self-understood emails to you; you come here already assuming, judging, evaluating as if things are as they had been before the withdrawal of Turkish occupation forces back in 1878 or som`. (and, yes, it is true, you were the occupants, however that playes your emotion!). Turks had crushed historic Bosnian sovereignty to replace it with their rule.....What I want to say with this train of thought, is that you Turks are as distant to us Bosnians/Bosniaks as Austrians, Hungarians, Italians etc. are!!! We share nothing in common except Islam (some of our people), a few words in Turkish embedded in our vocabulary, some dishes in our cuisine and some little tradition!!!! But then again, isn`t that a common legacy all invaders left behind in Bosnia: Austria, Hungary, Tito`s communist regime???

Get with it, present day Bosnians and Turks have nothing in common!!!
Possibly there could have been a bond between Bosniaks in Bosnia and "diaspora" in Turkey HAD THAT DIAPORA NOT DECIDED TO MELT WITH the Turks and embraced their traditions, ABANDONING EVERYTHIng Bosnian, including language, folk tales, hostoric events....

For the first time since many centuries ago, despite all ashdowns, petrichs, OHR, political problems, economic turmoil etc.,my country Bosnia and we Bosnians, have the opportunity to shape and build our country however we choose fit!!! The last chance to shape Bosnia`s future was before and during Wiena congress, but WE ALL KNOW how "Turkish brothers" conducted themselves...

My TURKISH "friend", history of Bosnia and its people people doesn`t start with the Turks, the SDA and Alija Izetbegovic!!!! It is MUCH OLDER AND PROUDER!!!

Please, DO NOT ANSWER, everything to be said/written has with this message been completed.

Bosnia to Bosnians only!!!

Dovidjenja!

suckitup!!! - read your nick name. this is enough.

it's not important what u think induvidually. Bosniak and Turkish Governments have very good relationships. We are friends for centruies. Bosnia's history starts with Ottoman Period, take a look at outside, whatever u see as history shows our friendship. Alija Izetbegovic make the history to awaken. Sure didnt start the history.

Nothing can change countries friendship, also you !
