Journalists who were in the streets of Sarajevo during the war in Bosnia waiting for sniper shoot which will hit somebody, we called them VULTURES. Journalists - vultures. I suspect, some of them use to pay sniperists to shoot somebody, just to make photo/film - story from Sarajevo with blood.
They were able to go behind front lines, by UN white vehicles.
I don't believe, that your project of reminding inhabitants of Sarajevo what was happened in some certain street by your installation of tv. set from '90s which shows happenings from the war in the same street will have success.
Our tv companies, Public tv service use to repeat every film dozens times. Everybody knows what happened in the Ferhadija street (Old name: Vase Miskina street) during May 1992. Everybody use to see dozens times film of masacre in the row for bread.
But if you create installation with actors in the street where will some actors acting western happy familly at their sweet, sweet home watching dramatic happenings from Sarajevo. With their tv set from '90s at which will be crocheted mile, I believe your installation will success.
These phrases ''War in Bosnia'' and ''Bosnian War'' and big difference in meanings between them is important for your project because the war from '90s in Bosnia IS NOT YET FINISHED!
There are no shootings, shellings, sniperings, but the war is going on in present time with political weapons, words, lies, hypocrisy of EU and others from so-called ''international community''.
