In July 2009 the Canadian Embassy in Sarajevo has ceased its operations. As of July 10, clients are
required to deal directly with the Embassy of Canada in Vienna for all visa and immigration matters.

Clients from Bosnia and Herzegovina have the following possibilities for

paid a private courier). A third party can pick up the envelope at the IOM office as long as you advise
IOM. The identity of this person will be verified and a signature required.

Following the removal of the temporary resident visa requirement for nationals of the Republic of Hungary on March 1, 2008, the visa office of the Canadian Embassy in Budapest will stop receiving applications on April 3, 2008 and close permanently as of April 15, 2008. Due to the closure, all visa services will be handled by the Canadian visa office in Vienna, Austria. This change does not affect permanent residence applications since those applications will continue to be processed in Vienna.
