Matthias Reim (26. November 1957 in Korbach, Hessen) - one of the most popular singers of Germany. Was born in the Northern-Giessen city Korbach, has grown at region centre Homberg (Efze). The father was the director of a grammar school in Korbach'e. The first — and the greatest hit song Verdammt, ich lieb ' Dich became its 1990. The single has been sold all over the world by circulation of 2,5 million and was the whole 16 weeks — from May, 18th till September, 6th — on the first place of German charts. With 1971 any other single was not on the first place so long time without interruption. Mattias Rajm has divided this record with Boney M.
