French duo Air returns to top form with the excellent "Talkie Walkie," a charming collection of cool, soft electropop. Air fans won't be disappointed by the combination of the strong points of past releases. It sounds fresh and new, but not TOO new. Air stays connected to what it's done in the past.

"Talkie Walkie" is a solid collection of pop (the haunting "Run" and beautiful "Cherry Blossom Girl"), psychedelica (catchy, futuristic-sounding "Surfing on a Rocket") and beautiful instrumentals (the sweeping acoustic-based "Mike Mills"). As an additional bonus, the CD comes with a bonus DVD of behind-the-scenes footage, musical clips and live footage.

Don't expect the second chapter of "Moon Safari." The latest Air release has a more experimental sound, as if they're trying to make everything balance out. And their attempt is pretty much successful. The dreamy, slightly vulnerable songwriting blends perfectly with a mix of acoustic and electronic music.

At times, "Talkie Walkie" sags slightly with a riff that doesn't belong or a song that could have been shorter. Most of the time, though, it boasts some pretty impressive instruments -- piano, strings, electric drums, bells and smooth soundscapes. Lyrics are simple, especially in the sweet love song "Venus" ("If you walk in the sun/I will be your shadow").

Smooth, cool and otherworldly, "Talkie Walkie" is a beautifully-made release by a talented band. This elegant album is a must-have for music fans.

The Fluid, svi ovi navodno muzičari koje si naveo i njihove istrumentale su uvreda za istinske i prave velikane koji su pisali i pišu i sviraju genijalne istrumentale! Npr. Satriani, Vai Stefanovski, Mogwai i da ne nabrajam mnoge druge! Za to nam ne spominji 50 cent, Beyonce i ostalo smeće koje si naveo, jer to nije muzika niti su to muzičari, već je riječ o običnim šminkerima i šminkericama sa 10 kila zlata na sebi koji nemaju blage veze s muzikom!

OK, Fluid, hvala na trudu, ali ovo mi baš i ne odgovara. U pitanju je neštoo žrtvama rata, tako da ovi hiphoperi ne idu nikako. Našao sam neke instrumentale iz Almodovarovih filmova, to recimo nije loše.

ej, dobro ti rece lik, probaj Kenny G to je lik koji svira saxofon, pjesme su mu obicno uz pratnju klavira. Probaj THE MOMENT naci, vjerujem da ces cim je cujes, skinut i ostale

Idealno bi bilo kad bi našao nešto izvedeno na violini, mada ni duhački instrumenti nisu loši.

Ovaj Kenny G je fenomenalan, samo su uglavnom obrade nekih pop hitova, bar ovo što sam našao na DC++.

Ova tema je otišla u Honduras, a ja sam i dalje bez muzičke podloge.

Nije otisla u Honduras, nego je nedostajalao ulaznih podataka da bi rezultat bio odgovarajuci. Smisao zivota je 42.
