Iran official gives alarming insight into Iraq partitioning
A senior Iranian official has called on Iraqi Kurdish leaders to forgo a planned referendum for secession, warning that a possible breakup of the Arab country could have grave consequences for the security of the region.
"Iraq is a well-known nation and a member of the United Nations with international borders, and its breakup is a very wrong thing, because the disintegration of the country would be the starting point for dangerous insecurities in the region," he said.
It would have "dangerous" ramifications for the regional countries, said Rezai, who is currently the secretary of Iran's top arbitration body, the Expediency Council, having served as the head of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) all through the eight-year Iraqi war of the 1980s on Iran.

"If the disintegration of Iraq begins, it will be extended to Syria and Turkey, and a separatist war will break up in the region, which may plunge the region to 20 years of insecurity," said Rezaei.
The Iranian government has maintained generally positive relations with Kurdish political entities and it greatly values stability along its western border with Iraq. That mountainous region already enables some Kurdish groups to skirmish with Iranian forces.

With Turkey obsessive in opposing a Kurdish state, Rezaei warned of possible deployment of Turkish troops to northern Iraq if the Kurds secede.

As a result of a secession, Rezaei said, new wars would start in the region between the central government of Iraq and Kurdistan, which would only harm the Kurdish nation.

Kiki pleme je najvece u provinciji Hasaka. Veliki broj pripadnika ovog plemena zivi u Turskoj.

Medjutim, nije to narocito vazno, Kurdi u Siriji ne pridaju narocitog znacaja plemenskom porijeklu.

Britain withdraws last of troops training Syrian rebels as world powers distance themselves from opposition

Britain has quietly halted its training of Syrian rebels, reflecting growing acknowledgment among key opposition backers that President Bashar al-Assad has victory in his sights.

Troops were sent last year to join US-led programmes in Turkey and Jordan, which aimed to train 5,000 vetted moderate opposition fighters a year for three years in the use of small arms, infantry tactics and satellite communication.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed to the Telegraph that in late June the last 20 soldiers returned home from the programme, which is ongoing.

The training was part of the Pentagon’s $500m (£390m) train-and-equip programme and was established in 2015 with the aim of pushing back Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) in the east of the country and hold on to the territory to prevent its return.

U pitanju je samo jos nekoliko stotinjak metara. Brkini u daljini jasno mogu prepoznati pozicije Tigrova. Treba kazati da izmedju njih vise ne postoji nijedan isilovac, nego je vise problem sto moraju koracati preko minskih polja. SAA mora ici i preko bocne strane da bi ujedno osigurali i koridor prema aerodromu.

Ne ljutim se, taman posla. Samo kazem da dobar dio komentara preskocim, narocito Saxxx-ovih, Chelijevih, Maystorovih itd. Savrseno kontam da nekoga Kurdi ne zanimaju i to je to.
