Last week I tackled the problem of the ubiquitous bent penis, and ended with a question about avoiding masturbation. This week I answer a few more questions about punishing the Pope.

6. I masturbate a lot, like seven times in a week. And sometimes I keep rubbing my dick for hours when talking to my girlfriend . . . tell me, is rubbing the penis for a very long time injurious to my health?

I included this question for two reasons. First, for those of you who polish Vader's helmet a couple of times a week and think you're overdoing it, this guy will make you feel good about your habit. For those of you who go at it two and three times a day, maybe take heed that some people think once a day is "a lot," and look into another hobby.

Second, I'll talk a little about what Americans call "blue balls." All cultures no doubt have a term for this, but unfortunately I don't know them (feel free to email them to me). Is it injurious to your health to get your penis excited at keep it in an excited state for hours? The experts seem to say that occasional blue balls is not a health risk. You may find you have a congested feeling in your groin area while the blood is sort of trapped there. However, according to urologists, repeatedly arousing yourself, keeping yourself aroused, and then not reaching orgasm can lead to prostate blockage which, trust me, is something you don't want. Maybe trim the rubbing time down a couple of hours, and let her hear you orgasm - you'll both be better off.

7. I'm doing masturbating a lot from a long time . . . now I've managed to lessen my routine of doing masturbating . . . will it be harmful to my marriage life if I continue to masturbate . . . or suggest me what to do.

As I'm sure you gathered from last week's questions, masturbation is completely normal and I'm not at all shocked that you've been masturbating for a long time. And I applaud your efforts to lessen your masturbation routine. Will it be harmful to your marriage? That remains to be seen. One way it could be problematic is if you continue your routine in secret. When you're married to someone, it's hard to keep secrets like that. If your wife isn't well versed in the habits of men, it could be very surprising and hurtful for her to discover that you still masturbate. And believe me, she WILL discover it.

However, like I said last week in the answer to question 5 last week, milking the weasel has some distinct benefits that could actually help your marriage. If you masturbate to relieve tension and stress, you may be a better husband. Also, if your wife's sexual appetite isn't as voracious as yours, it may be a welcome relief to her. Either way, tell your wife about your routine, explain it has nothing to do with her . . . some women understand, others are jealous, but it's better to find out how she feels in a conversation about it, than it would be to have her walk in on you in the shower using her conditioner for something the manufacturers didn't intend.

8. Now my question is, 1. Is masturbation a healthy or an unhealthy act? 2. What are the effects of masturbation and over masturbation (I would like to hear every kind of effect)? 3. If hazardous, what can be the precautions and how I can drop masturbating?? 4. Can you still get a woman pregnant if you're having masturbation like I do? 5. What are the possible measures to get a woman pregnant?

1. See answers to questions 6 & 7 above and 5 from last week. 2. I couldn't possibly tell you every effect of masturbation. For most it is a pleasurable experience, for some it's a guilt-ridden event, for others it's almost a necessary, routine act. Over-masturbation, on the other hand, can lead to chafing and abrasions on the penis, carpal tunnel syndrome on the utilized hand/arm, and can lead to addictive behavior just like any pleasure-inducing behavior. 3. I don't think it's hazardous, so the only precautions I would recommend are to monitor your habit to make sure you aren't doing it compulsively. If you are doing it compulsively, attempt to modify your behavior and if that doesn't work, seek help. 4. Yes, you can still get a woman pregnant if you masturbate regularly. As I discussed in the wet dream article, the testicles make sperm twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. If you can ejaculate, there will be klix swimmers just itching to find an available egg. 5. I'm not sure whether you mean measures to avoid pregnancy or to secure pregnancy. I'm assuming you want to avoid it, so I advise condoms because they also protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). You can also try hormonal methods like the Pill, DepoProvera shots, and the NuvaRing, and there are other options like diaphragms, IUDs, etc., but none of those are effective against things like AIDS, and other STDs.

9. I also have a problem of masturbating. I tried to keep myself away from doing this but after one or two weeks if I see some women's breast or any women in sexy dress I cannot get control on masturbating. Please reply as I need to keep myself away from it.

Like many people, you seem to feel shame or guilt about masturbation. As I've discussed in many of the previous answers in this series, target practice with the yogurt gun is a normal human event. The fact that you are able to abstain for a couple of weeks means that you have a decent amount of self control with which to start.

My advice to you is to examine why you feel that you need to keep yourself away from masturbating. Is it a religious thing? Do you feel guilty because your parents never talked to you about it? Is it the way masturbation is handled in your culture? Sit down and think about why it makes you feel guilty - if it's a religious conviction, then be proud of the moments that you manage to avoid it, but don't get too hung up on the times that you give in. A young male body is a cauldron of hormones, and there will continue to be lots of breasts and sexy dresses out there to tempt you.
