Zato sam ti I napisao da pogledas po Pazaricu , Srbiji ili Kosovu da vidis kako je porastao broj kancerogenih oboljenja I kako se sad radjaju deformisana djeca....od tihog zracenja
Zato sam i pitao, koliko si upucen u tu tematiku...posto si lijepo rekao, da lijepo napisem, pa do tebe je da prihvatis ili ne; Osiromaseni uranijum osim u direktnom kontaktu ili putem unesenja poput vode ... jeste toxican ali ne radio aktivan u onom smislu radioaktivnosti...nr. dosta slabili od prirodnog uranijuma koji se nadje u prirodi...da netusim, ako meni ne vjerujes, pitaj svjetsku zdravstvenu organizaciju (gdje ima i rusa)...zato sam onako reagovao, jasno je meni sta se sve nece potegnuti kako bi se prica sa Assad-Putin picavjza skrenula.

The war in Bosnia(1992-1995) and the NATO bombardment of Serbia/Kosovo 1999 also left a radioactive legacy. In Sarajevo, cancer cases rose from
43 in 1995 to 248 in 2000.
Professor Trifko Guzino, surgeon and former director of the urological clinic in Sarajevo, stated that his “patients who were suffering from multiple, independent malignant tumors lived in immediate proximity to the bombing sites or were in these areas at the time the bombings occurred.” Veterans from these wars are suffering similar symptoms to their Gulf war counterparts. One study showed a severe increase in Hodgkins lymphoma amongst Italian peacekeepers from Bosnia and Kosovo. Other veterans are suffering from a multitude of illnesses including cancers, acute and rare forms of leukaemia, Crohn’s disease, hepatic disorders and nervous systems disorders. In Serbia and Kosovo cancer and leukaemia rates are also rising.
According to local doctors, leukaemia in Kosovo has risen from 1 per 1000 to 1 per 100. The cancer rate in Kosovo before 1999 was 10 among 300,000 people, and “today it stands at 20 among 60,000″

Health effects
Potentially depleted uranium has both chemical and radiological toxicity with the two important
target organs being the kidneys and the lungs. Health consequences are determined by the
physical and chemical nature of the depleted uranium to which an individual is exposed, and
to the level and duration of exposure.
Long-term studies of workers exposed to uranium have reported some impairment of kidney
function depending on the level of exposure. However, there is also some evidence that this
impairment may be transient and that kidney function returns to normal once the source of
excessive uranium exposure has been removed.
Insoluble inhaled uranium particles, 1-10 µm in size, tend to be retained in the lung and may
lead to irradiation damage of the lung and even lung cancer if a high enough radiation dose
results over a prolonged period.
Direct contact of depleted uranium metal with the skin, even for several weeks, is unlikely to
produce radiation-induced erythema (superficial inflammation of the skin) or other short term
effects. Follow-up studies of veterans with embedded fragments in the tissue have shown
detectable levels of depleted uranium in the urine, but without apparent health consequences.
The radiation dose to military personnel within an armoured vehicle is very unlikely to exceed
the average annual external dose from natural background radiation from all sources
