AmiĐa_Idriz wrote: ↑14/07/2023 10:31 Tako i ja nekako gledam.

Donaueschingen, Jürgen Klopp and Mission 23/24.
Why did Jürgen Klopp choose a quiet town in South west Germany, how is this camp connected to his famous 2010 to 2012 success at Dortmund?
• New energy, Vitality and Hope with youthful squad.
The biggest and most important change from last year's pre-season is the training camps, now it’s in Donaueschingen, Germany, a town Jürgen chose.
It will be an intense week of conditioning in secluded surroundings, as opposed to last summer's trip to Singapore.
Jürgen knows Donaueschingen well, having taken his Borussia Dortmund team there in 2009.
His team achieved a considerable success that yielded two Bundesliga titles and the German Cup the following years.
Donaueschingen is a quiet town in south-west Germany. A very nice location in a Black Forest. The training centre and the Hotel are just outside the town.
There’s also a golf course around. Sounds fun?, But it’s more than that to Jürgen Klopp.
Good foundations and Good memories.
You might be asking yourself why here personally?
Well, Jürgen was born in Stuttgart, West Germany, 1 hr away from Donaueschingen and grew up in Black Forest, 50 mins away to Donaueschingen.
• Enduring influence of Culture and Environment = Pursuing process of rejuvenation.
It’s then the way Jürgen wants to put things scientifically.
Long hours, two sessions a day, full concentration with peace, quiet and good vibes while the boys build their chemistry.
NOT MUCH DISTRACTION.
With a youthful squad and a crucial season ahead, what are Klopp’s demands?
- Physical football, High volume and intensity training, Possession+Quick Counter Football, Reliving winning mentality and of course the Heavy metal football.
There’s the need of certain amount of weeks to achieve this level and get a certain continuity into it. Only if you can manage to do that, do you then have a safeguard of not becoming injury prone because of over-training or too high loads or too high a fluctuation in loads.
The approach and focus is more conditioning basis, more sessions and less practice games with a squad now that is being rejuvenated with younger and quality players all around, who are capable of a higher load.
Jürgen Klopp believes you build resilience by pushing players to their physical limits even if this will risk potential injuries but with the quest of optimum performance.
Without risk, there’s no reward.
2 hr drive from Donaueschingen, the boys will face a Bundesliga 2 side Karlsruher SC on July 19th to open their new 34,000-seater Wildparkstadion and Greuther furth on 24th.
Gradually, as pre-season progresses, Jürgen will start to focus more on tactical and game-focused work.
Conditioning is a staple of pre-season for Jurgen Klopp. He chose this approach and his plan is for it to be successful as it had been.
From more conditioning basis in Germany to more football-focused level in Singapore.
