To bi bilo istina da nema ovakvih primjera u Kur'anu (Korkutovi prevodi):
Pitaju te o vinu i kocki. Reci: ”Oni donose veliku štetu, a i neku korist ljudima, samo je šteta od njih veća od koristi.” I pitaju te koliko
da udjeljuju. Reci: ”Višak!” Eto, tako vam Allah objašnjava propise da biste razmislili. [2:219]
O vjernici, vino i kocka i kumiri i strjelice za gatanje su odvratne stvari, šejtanovo djelo; zato se toga klonite da biste postigli što želite. [5:90]
Što se tiče 2:219, valjda je jasno da ono što je šteta je razumno izbjegavati, a razumno je i zabranjivati, tim više što se ovdje govori o "velikoj šteti", dakle stavlja se naglasak na disproporciju i veličinu štete, dok se korist od vina/alkohola čak i nipodaštava i trivijalizira kroz izjavu "neku korist". Dakle, "neku korist", ali ne naročito veliku ili bitnu. Dok ide "velika šteta", a ne samo "neka šteta" na primjer.
Što se tiče 5:90, sam ajet postavlja kao uvjet uspjeha ("postizanja šta se želi") to da se čovjek kloni prethodno navedenih stvari; ako uzmemo da je postignuće na primjer Džennet, ili na primjer Allahovo zadovoljstvo, ili na primjer susret sa Allahom i td., kako onda ikako drugačije tumačiti ovaj ajet osim u smislu čak i stroge zabrane vina, kocke i drugog? Ili neko želi reći kako je Allahovo zadovoljstvo (odnosno nezadovoljstvo) nebitna i trivijalna stvar, nešto što nije cilj sam po sebi?

Druga stvar koju želim reći jeste - po čemu je musliman u nekoj tobožnjoj obavezi da prihvati Korkutov prevod kao isključivo validan? Ko kaže da je to "originalni prevod (u Bošnjaka)" samo zato što je nastao prije N godina/decenija/stoljeća, isto kao da ljudska inteligencija i ljudska pobožnost leži na historiji, a ne na Vječnom i Sveprisutnom Božijem nadahnuću da se (spo)zna istina?
1400+ godina Islamske historije, uz nebrojene učenjake ali i laike, svjedoči jednom: alkohol, osim u svrhe medicine primjerice, je zlo, loš, haram i kao takav - posve logično i razumno - zabranjen svakom muslimanu, osim u slučaju prijeke nužde.
Evo nekih od prevoda 2:219 na engleskom jeziku:
Sahih International: They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they should spend. Say, "The excess [beyond needs]." Thus Allah makes clear to you the verses [of revelation] that you might give thought.
Pickthall: They question thee about strong drink and games of chance. Say: In both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness. Doslovno sve i jedan navode vino kao "grijeh"; čak i da su upotrijebili riječ zlo, koja je inače "težeg" značenja od riječi grijeh, opet bi to bilo isto. A ako grijesi, odnosno zlo, nisu zabranjeni, šta su onda? Dozvoljeni? Jer, ili je nešto zabranjeno ili nije, a ako nije onda je po definiciji dozvoljeno. A ako je dozvoljeno, onda bi sva priča prestala tu i tada, i ne bi stotine generacija muslimana oko ovoga polemisalo stoljećima.
