Zorn ima neka 30 izdanja i sorabotke...decak svira na veliko...ali...malo trazi zeludac jak iskreno...
Bungle su svakako jedna od najlepsih grupi koji mozete naci. Mike Patton je najbolji vokal koji danas postoji, za mene.
Magma...haha...neke po forume i recenzije su rekle da ih nervira ono hiss jer je slaba produkcija....
A sad ja...Lord of the Rings, Bo Hansson...
Bo Hanson je svirao jednu pesnu sa Hendrix, on je bio na klavijature, al to je nebitan fakt. Interesno za ovaj album, koji mu je jedini je sta je decak tad kupio hammond organu(iz sweddish je) i kako bio inspirisan od Tolkien-ovu knjigu, koja mu je dala djevojka ...otiso i se izolirao na neki recni ostrov..sa dva prijatelja, jedan je svirao bass, a jedan gitara, mislim...i su uradilii ovaj album...za neki mesec dana...
Imajuci u predvid da niko nije imao pojma o sviranje, muzika je ispala neverovatno ttrancedentalna...Ona pesma, The black Riders mi je omiljena.
Diamanda i John Paul Jones...ko nije downloadirao Sporting Life album nek to ucini smesta, jer je to najmracna i najvirtuozna muzika koju moz nekad Hard Rocker pozeleti.
Potsecam da Bodkin su bile za mene otkrice godine i su neverovatno lepe i proffi, sto mislim, da nisu ostali samo na ovaj album, bile bi nesto izmedju Deep Purple-a i Black Sabbath, a mozda i bolji.
San Francisco Shiver, isto, nemaju nista snimeno, ovo je neka snimka koju neko na svu srecu rokera je uspeo snimiti kad su nastupali za Hell Angelsa(motor club) negde u Frisca. Ona duga pesma, Alfa Man je kao da je issvirana od Cepelina na Madisson koncert.

Za danas...moju preporuku...

Frank Zappa Joe s Garage Acts I II

This isthe Central Scrutinizer...

Joe's Garage: Acts I, II & III is a 1979 rock opera by Frank Zappa. The album features Ike Willis as the voice of "Joe", a stereotypical garage band youth who unwittingly journeys through the miasma of the music business. Zappa provides the voice of the "Central Scrutinizer" character—a mechanical voice which narrates the story and haunts Joe's psyche with McCarthyistic 50s-era discouragement and "klix."

The album was originally issued in two parts, the first part being a single LP of Act I, and the second part being a double-LP set of Acts II & III. All three acts were later issued together as a box set, and on compact disc as a double-CD. The major themes of the story include groupie migration, mockery of Scientology, appliance fetishism, garage bands, and above all censorship of music as an art form.
Act I

The opera begins with the Central Scrutinizer's introduction. He explains that his job is to enforce laws which will be passed in the future—including the coming total illegalization of music. The Scrutinizer offers a "special presentation to show what can happen to you if you choose a career in music." He then introduces the opera's protagonist, Joe.
Joe used to be a nice boy who would cut his neighbors' grass until he discovered rock music, and then he would spend all his time playing loud music in his garage, where the neighbors would often call the cops on him. A "friendly counselor" at the police department tells Joe he should "stick closer to church-oriented social activities." Joe finds a new girlfriend named Mary, with whom he would "hold hands and think pure thoughts." However, Mary, a Roman Catholic girl, abandons Joe in order to get a pass to see a band called "Toad-O" with whom she goes on the road—having sex with the band's roadies. Eventually, they abandon her in Miami when she is too tired to do anything.

Mary enters a wet t-shirt contest to try to make enough money to get back home. Joe hears of her exploits, becomes depressed, falls in with a fast crowd, and has sex with a girl who works at the Jack-In-The-Box named Lucille, who gives him an "unpronounceable disease" (alluding to the various sexually transmitted diseases with—to some—difficult to pronounce names) (though he claims it came from a toilet seat).

Act II

Joe turns to religion for help, and "pays a lot of money to L. Ron Hoover at the First Church of Appliantology." Hoover identifies Joe as a "latent appliance fetishist". When Joe asks if he should "come out of the closet" he is instead instructed to "go into the closet" to achieve "sexual gratification through the use of machines". In the next song, we learn "The Closet" is the name of a club where humans can copulate with appliances. Joe locates a machine he likes, named Sy Borg, and they return to Sy's apartment. There Joe and Sy have a "groovy orgy" with Sy's roommate, a "modified Gay-Bob doll."
Joe ends up destroying Sy, (whom the Central Scrutinizer calls a "XQJ-37 Nuclear-Powered Pansexual Roto-Plooker") with a golden shower. Joe is thrown in prison after being unable to pay for the damage (having given up all his money to the Church of Appliantology). In jail, Joe is repeatedly gang raped ("plooked") by former musicians and record executives when they're not snorting lines of detergent pretending it's cocaine. This gang is led by a shockingly endowed former promotional agent of a major record company, known as "Bald-Headed John: King of the Plookers" (whose character is based on Zappa's chief of security, John Smothers).

Act III
When Joe is released from prison, music has become illegal. He loses his sanity, and begins imagining all the guitar notes he cannot play and a journalist documenting his thoughts. Eventually, he comes to terms with the fact that music is gone, and gets a job at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, frosting muffins.

This last act is a direct reference to Zappas own experience of incarceration, when he was imprisoned for ten days during his youth for producing audio "pornography".While incarcerated he was unable to play his guitar so passed the time by imagining lead solos and guitar licks he would like to play.

prilikom snimanja drugog albuma i izdali ovaj gornji.

The only album from McDonald And Giles is contrastingly different to much of what one experienced on In The Court Of The Crimson King, though nevertheless the album remains an important and sadly neglected album from the days of early progressive rock.
'McDonald and Giles' is one of the best-kept musical secrets of the 1970's, along with such albums as 'Bored Civilians' by Cross and Ross (1972), 'It'll All Work Out In Boomland' by T2 (1970) and Peter Sinfield's 'Still' (1973). One wonders if 'McDonald and Giles' was, in some ways, a prototype for Mike Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells' with its multi-sectional, almost one-man approach in recording a complete musical work.
It is a very different album from 'In the Court of the Crimson King', and illustrates the gentle, feminine or Yin side of the group. It could even be regarded as the Double White album as compared to Sgt. Pepper if a comparison is made with The Beatles.
an McDonald appears as multi-instrumentalist - guitars, keyboards, woodwinds, reeds and sundries - and takes the main vocal parts, with Michael Giles on drums, percussion and lead vocals in one song. Peter Giles plays a key role as bass guitarist, with 'guest' appearances by Steve Winwood - piano solo and organ on the long piece, 'Suite in C' - and Michael Blakesley on trombone. The arrangements are by Mike Gray. Melody, harmony and rhythm are at the centre of the work as opposed to counterpoint, although there is a contrapuntal section in the long piece, 'Birdman'.
Two long multi-sectional pieces, 'Suite in C' and 'Birdman' - the first written by McDonald and the second by McDonald and Peter Sinfield - frame three shorter songs, 'Flight of the Ibis', 'Is She Waiting' - the first by McDonald and B.P. Fallon, the second by McDonald - and 'Tomorrow's People-The Children of Today' by Michael Giles. There may even be a case for comparing the structure with 'In the Court...' possibly as a parody of it:

Evo jednog benda kojeg slušam stalno, a vjerovatno ga nikad niste čuli ,jedan od onih koji vam uđu u uši i nema nazad bar meni.

S H E A V Y, kanadski bend kojeg bi ja opisao kao Black Sabbath da je nastavio sa muzikom kako treba nakon prvih albuma a ne sa sranjima. Vokal zvuči kao ... Ozzy, ali ono baš. Pravi oldschool metal hard rock, ne znam ni ja kako nazvati ovo.
Ovo je zadnji album The Machine That Won The War (2007),
