And I love Zeljanica 8-)

Don't wory. They shouldn't have any problem with Turkish girl. Maybe strange feeling in communication but otherwise - shouldn't be a problem. That is a general idea - they still could be some nuts and have problem with it :-)
I hope you're right :-D

Hello
Well, Bosnian people as well as all the people tend to be closed minded and less tolerant, and that is normal, especially for those that have never met people from other countries. I guess that is not problem in this case, since his paretnts are in Netherland (i assume). Anyway I don't think you should mind about that. We live in 2007 in a pretty much globalized world and factors like colour, religion, nationality, etc. should not matter. What you should focus on, is your relationship. If they don't accept you, there is obviously something wrong with them.

I know that in many cases (people I know), normal parrents (Bosnian) never minded where sons/daughters girl/boyfriend is from.

Good Luck and you should visit Bosnia soon :)

@JokYouAre
Yes, and I think that there aren't differences between me and my boyfriend.
Ok, he's Bosnian, but he can speak Turkish and he is Muslim. So I don't see a problem.
But I know a Dutch girl with a Bosnian boy, and his parents hate that girl because she has a different nationality. That is the reason that I'm frightened.

Don't compare apples to oranges. If that Dutch girl is not Muslim it does make a difference if he is Muslim. The word hate is a little harsh, they may not be too happy that he is with someone of a different religion but I don't think they hate her if they know their son is happy and if she's a decent girl. It's also a little different when a Muslim guy marries a non muslim than when a Muslim girl decides to marry a non muslim guy. Both you and your boyfriend are Muslim and thats the most impoetant thing, and if your parents follow Islam you shouldn't have a problem regarding nationality or race. :)

esra :
No you aren't wrong. Turks accept it when a boy marries a girl who isn't Turkish.
It's a bigger problem when a klix want to marry a not-Turk.
But he is a Muslim, so I don't think my parents will be angry or something...

well, u c, in turkiye marriage with other femes is totaly cool, as we like to say "in". if one macho-turko has no russian feme he is no more macho, just turko. and u are sth as "ashamed" to be what u are. what a strange nation...

I hope you can answer my question in English..

Hvala :-D
Bosnians oftenly don´t have any problems with Turks, actually they realy like them. Of course there are nationalists but becuse you are Muslim I don´t think it´s such a big problem. Bosnians are definitly not nationalists, and if they are, it´s mostly against Serbs and Croats and rarely against other Muslims specielly Turks.

Btw, Turkish klix are hot :D
