Peter René Cipiriano Baumann (born January 5, 1968), better known as DJ BoBo, is a Swiss singer, songwriter, dancer and music producer. He has sold 14 million records worldwide and has released 11 studio albums as well as a few compilation albums which have included his previous hits in a reworked format.[1] DJ BoBo has also released as many as 34 singles to date, some of which have charted quite high, not only in German speaking countries, but also in other European territories.
As a dance music producer, his first big success came with the single "Somebody Dance with Me", which borrows its melody from Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me.[2] After this, he charted well with the singles "Keep on Dancing", "Take Control", "Everybody", "Let the Dream Come True", "Love Is All Around", "Freedom", "Pray" and "What a Feeling", as well as "Chihuahua", almost all of which comprised fast-paced Eurodance techno sound with female catchy refrains and rap performed by René. Between 1992 through 2007, he had 27 single chart-hits in Switzerland and Germany, and has won 10 World Music Awards for being Switzerland's best selling artist.[3] René has received numerous Gold and Platinum certifications for his singles and albums and has found success in Europe (primarily in Germany and Switzerland), Asia and South America.

Sport

From the first ever game at the Stadium of Light up until the 2005-06 season, Sunderland players ran out on to the pitch to this song. The track proved a massive hit with Sunderland fans, to the extent that Republica were invited to perform the song live at the Stadium of Light for the last game of Sunderland's record-breaking, league-winning season in May 1999. For the occasion, lead singer Saffron wore a Sunderland top. It was replaced by U2's "Elevation", a switch which was unpopular with many fans. "Ready to Go" is now frequently used by many other clubs for when the players come out.
The Boston Red Sox usually play this song at Fenway Park before the game begins as the managers have the meeting at home plate each night.
The song was included on the NHL's Nashville Predators Check, Please! CD, and has been played before home games since 1998.
The Washington Capitals play this song before the third period of their home games at Verizon Center
It has been played at various U.S. sporting games such as the NBA and the WNBA. It is sometimes played right before the game starts or during a pivotal moment during the game.

The song was used in a video montage that contained highlights of the Chicago Bulls' 1996-97 NBA championship season.
The song was used by the Michigan State Spartans football team as they took the field until it was replaced by AC/DC's "Thunderstruck".

Darts player Mike Veitch uses the song as his walk-on music.
"Ready to Go" is included in The Official Euro 2000 Album
"Ready to Go" is the theme song for the Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster at Cedar Point in Ohio. It is played in the station of the ride and is heard before launching.[3]

Zenska pjeva, frajer repa, mada nema karakteristicnog beata i tupog basa. Vidi se da su 2000-te na pomolu.

Stavljam jos neke svoje favorite uskoro.
