Celtic have been reinstated to the Champions League after Legia Warsaw were kicked out of the competition for fielding an ineligible player.
Legia won the third qualifying round tie 6-1 on aggregate but brought on Bartosz Bereszynski in the second leg, while he was supposed to be suspended.
As a result Celtic were handed a 3-0 'walkover' win for the second leg, taking them through on away goals.
Legia, who have asked for Uefa's reasons, have five days to appeal.
The Polish champions won the first leg 4-1 and the second 2-0.
Celtic are now seeded for the play-off draw and can face Ludogorets of Bulgaria, Maribor of Slovenia, Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia, Malmo of Sweden or Denmark's Aalborg.
Uefa's disciplinary board confirmed that Bereszynski has also been hit with a further game's ban.
He was sent off in Legia's final Europa League tie last season against Apollon Limassol and received a three-match ban.
He should have been registered for the club's two-legged tie against St Patrick's, even though he was unable to play.
Celtic have previously been given a reprieve in continental competition in similar circumstances.
Neil Lennon's side were beaten 3-1 on aggregate by Sion in the Europa League three years ago, but the Swiss side were subsequently ejected from the competition after they were found to have fielded ineligible players.
Sion had signed five players while still under a Fifa transfer ban for breaching rules over the signing of Egypt goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary three years earlier.

mene je uvijek zanimalo kakva su pravila po pitanju varijante da u dvomecu npr eto dobije domacin 4 0 prvu tekmu a u drugoj se ne pojave ili namjerno pocnu s nekim igracem kao sto je legija sta se desava u tom slucaju jer fakticki oni registruju tekme sa 3 0 a to nije dovoljno za prolaz ako izgube 4 0 npr... ako neko zna sta se radi u tom slucaju bas bih volio znati.

Nisu Poljaci debili i amateri, nego UEFA. Informisi se malo bolje sta je se ustvari desilo.
Danas sam napisao e-mail Uefi, gdje sam im jebao sve po spisku za ovo sranje.
Legija je ulozila zalbu, i nadam se da ce proci.

Onaj igrac je regularno "odlezao" svoje 3 utakmice suspenzije ove sezone, ali je fazon u tome da nije bio "prijavljen" za te utakmice koje je morao propustiti. Sad Legija naravno odgovara "koji cemo ga kurac prijavljivati za utakmice, ako je ionako suspendovan"
Izgleda da UEFA interpretira pravila kako jos pashe, a nije slucajnost da su samo zadnjih nekoliko godina zbog dubioznih sranja izbacíli ili ostetili Fenerbahce, Metalist Harkov, Olympiakos, Zvezdu, Legiju i jos bruku drugih istocnoevropskih klubova...kako nikad Engleze, Svabe, Francuze...

Ja se satra trazeci vise o tome ali nigdje ne nadjoh to sto ti rece. Cak naprotiv, Poljaci sami priznaju svoju gresku:

Druga je sad stvar sto je besmisleno da se zbog ovoga izbacuje klub. Ovaj igrac nije novi u Legiji, a znamo da kad igrac negdje predje to se odmah registruje u sistem kojem ima pristup i UEFA. Sve u cemu su pogrijesili je sto ga nisu uvrstili na spisak u prvoj utakmici.
Inace, internet je pun teorija zavjere o ovome.
Ha, ma mislim na komentare na ovu vijest u vodecim britanskim medijima (BBC, Telegraph, Guardian ili Daily Mail ). Potrazite na dnu clanaka. Spominje se utakmica Debrecen - Levski prije nekoliko godina, navodno isti slucaj. Spominje se TV trziste (Celtic je jedan od najpopularnijih timova u UK). Spominje se papa. Ne da mi se sad traziti kad su ti komentari zakopani medju stotinama.
Procitao sam neki clanak koji komentarise druge clanke slicne teoreticarske sadrzine, znaci da je bilo i toga, ali ih ja ne mogu naci.
Uglavnom, ide se na to da se prica o "slobodnoj interpretaciji pravila" od strane UEFA.
