Frustrated Jurgen Klopp kept his hairdryer locked away and chose not to subject his Liverpool players to a tongue-lashing after Belgrade.

He watched a recording of the game on the flight back to England, then studied it again on Wednesday morning.
He then held a meeting with his players at their Melwood HQ, before they went through a cool-down session, to point out their many errors.
Liverpool's players were left in no doubt that their efforts had not been below standard in Belgrade and Klopp took a meeting at Melwood before training on Wednesday afternoon.

Liverpool have no concerns over the fitness of Joe Gomez after the defender was called up by England.

Klopp will make changes for the visit of Fulham, with Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri also among those pressing for a start.
Liverpool are monitoring Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge but may face stiff competition from Arsenal for his signature.

A leading American newspaper has claimed #LFC is 'quietly on the market', with John W. Henry allegedly running a 'passive sales process.’

The New York Post believe Henry is 'privately entertaining offers.’

“It’s for sale if he can get the right price."
FSG have always reiterated the club is not for sale - but remain open to the idea of selling a minority stake in return for the right investment.
John Henry has quietly signaled he’s willing to sell Liverpool FC, The New York Post has learned.

Henry is privately entertaining offers in an informal process that’s outside of an official auction — and is looking for a price well north of $2 billion, the source added.

Two other sources also said Liverpool is essentially for sale.

(4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Keita, Shaqiri, Salah, Firmino, Mané.

@JamesPearceEcho opinion.
OGC Nice manager Patrick Viera is unhappy with his goalkeeping options, and has Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet in top of his wish list as he is eyeing a January transfer for the Belgian goalkeeper. [@HBVL]
Liverpool & Wolves are showing interest in Toulouse young starlet Jean-Clair Todibo. All clubs are available to start talking with the center-back over a move in January, as he has yet to sign his first professional contract with Toulouse. [@LaDepechedumidi]

Andy Robertson is poised to put pen to paper on a new five-year deal.

The 24-year-old Scot will double his wages to £60,000 a week after establishing himself in manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up.
