Mislim da Tpic ima prednost u odnosu na Muslimovica koji je u zadnje vrijeme umoran kada se radi od reprezentativnom dresu.

Muslimovic umoran? Na osnovu cega si to zakljucio.Topic je nekad dobar bio,ali mislim da je sada star i da nema smisla pozivati ga pored ovih napadaca koje imamo.Za Blatnjaka ne znam kako igra,ali koliko znam on je ofanzivniji,krilo ili napadac,a opet to nam ne treba,ali moze za klupe.

Marko Topic je odlican napadac i mislim da bi bio koristan za nasu reprezentaciju,ali jedino u slucaju da se ne daj Boze povrijedi jedan od napadaca sa kojima trenutno raspolazemo

upravu si al ko da igra u odbrani???? druga bi prica da bila da Sasa i Amidza oce igrati. Sto se stopera tice, na raspolaganju su Spahic, Radeljic, Bajic, Nadarevic. Ova cetri igraca su nedovoljna, pogotovo kad se u obzir uzme da Spahic ide na operaciju, a da je Bajic totalna fula. Na njihovo mjesto dolazi Damjanovic, sto se i nije pokazalo losim potezoma ali on je neiskusan na tim pozicijama. Mozemo se sjetiti kad je Sergej igrao na poziciji stopera. To su bila vremena hehe

ja bih prije misimovica radije tu negdje vidio. dzeko me onim svojim fulanjem samo zna izvicirati.

Miroslav Blažević samo u superlativima govori o bh. napadačima...


Divi se Vedadu Ibiševiću, koji je najbolji strijelac Bundeslige, hvali Zlatana Muslimovića, oduševljava ga Edin Džeko. Za kojeg je uvjeren da će se za njega nogometna Evropa uskoro otimati.

- Džeko je već sada bolji od Zlatana Ibrahimovića. Osim što je bolji, on je kompletniji od Zlatana, jači u igri glavom, kreativniji, pokretljiviji. I još sedam osam godina mlađi - uspoređuje selektor našeg asa i napadača Intera.

Ima dodatne argumente.

- Zlatan je već provaljen igrač. Prznica je, troši energiju na bespotrebne stvari, dok je Džeko kolos koji svakim danom u svakom pogledu, sve više napreduje... kazao je Blažević za San

Selektor daje razloga za zadovoljstvo i Džekinom menadžeru.

- Ne znam ko je taj, ali znam da će se dobro opariti. Džeko će za koju godinu vrijediti dvadesetak miliona eura. Ja sam trenirao dosta igrača, godinama i na kontra strani sretao klasne napadače, ali Edin je osvježenje, prototip napadača za budućnost; snažan, a brz, okretan, spretan i opak na suparničkoj polovici - nahvalio je Blažević napadača Wolfsburga i bh. reprezentacije.

Nakon jednog treninga, Blažević je pozvao Džeku za svoj stol, gdje su osim selektora, sjedili još Fuad Muzurović i Ibro Biogradlić. Kada je Edin došao, odmah je sjeo.

Selektor je dreknuo: Ko ti je rekao da sjediš? Stani mirno! Onda je Ćiro kolegama rekao: Dragi moji prijatelji, pred sobom vidite, budućeg svjetskog nogometnog asa! Džeko se zahvalio, a selektor ga ispravio: Zahvali mi se golovima u Istanbulu!

Give & Go: Hoffenheim’s Vedad Ibisevic

The Bundesliga’s top scorer sits down with Goal.com to discuss his first season in the top division, Bosnia’s qualifying chances, and his days playing high school and college soccer in St. Louis.

Hoffenheim, Germany -- On a cold, windy and wet Thursday morning last week at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s training site in Sinsheim, coach Ralf Rangnick was putting his players through their paces. They were preparing for the weekend’s game against Frankfurt, a match they would win 2-1. The three points would put them into 2nd place in the Bundesliga.

It’s a remarkable standing considering the club’s history. In the early 1990s, when they were bought by software magnate Dietmar Hopp, Hoffenheim was an amateur team. Just nine years ago, they were still in Germany’s 6th tier. But Hopp, who was a youth player at the club, has invested heavily and brought the side all the way to the Bundesliga.

Much of Hoffenheim's success can be attributed to a commitment to youth: They have the youngest average age in the league. One of those young players is Bosnian international striker Vedad Ibisevic, currently tied for the Bundesliga lead in goals with seven.

Born in Vlasenica, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the 24-year-old Ibisevic and his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri, when he was 16 (after a short stint in Switzerland, where he was actually offered a contract by FC Basel). In St. Louis, he was a standout with the powerful Busch youth club. His coach, Mike Turner, said that after the first practice he knew Ibisevic had the talent.

After high school, Ibisevic attended St. Louis University for one year, when he scored 18 goals and was named NCAA Freshman of the Year in 2003. That following summer, he impressed with the Bosnian U-21 team and signed with French giants Paris St. Germain, then coached by a fellow Bosnian, Vahid Halilhodzic. Ibisevic didn't stick with PSG, and eventually moved to Dijon FCO.

In 2006, he moved again, to German second-division side Alemannia Aachen. He spent one season at Tivoli Stadium before jumping to Hoffenheim in the summer of 2007.

After hitting a few extra shots after practices at Sinsheim, Ibisevic spoke exclusively with Goal.com.

Goal.com: You have played professional soccer for multiple teams in France and Germany. How exactly did you end up at Hoffenheim? The Aachen management was extremely upset that you left for Hoffenheim.

Ibisevic: Well, Hoffenheim made me an offer that was very hard to refuse. I am very happy to be here. The support staff is great, the facilities are first rate and the fans are terrific.

Goal.com: Last season while in the second division with Hoffenheim, you had some challenges living up to your reputation as a goal scorer. You scored only five times. This year, you are leading the Bundesliga. What’s different?

Ibisevic: Yeah, my confidence just wasn’t there last year. After missing some easy shots, I had self-doubts. After the season and while on vacation, I made a promise that I would refocus, that I was still good and I would come back and be a better player. This year, my confidence is back and everything is clicking. I am in good shape, and the team is playing very, very good together. We have a team nutritionist and physical therapists that have given me advice and help. So far I haven’t been injured and I am in top shape.

Goal.com: You scored in the recent 5-4 loss to Werder Bremen that is mentioned as the game of the year in the Bundesliga.

Ibisevic: It was the craziest game that I have ever been involved in. Bremen went boom boom boom and were up 4-1 in the first 30 minutes. Every mistake we made, they scored upon us. We kept playing our game, and we tied the game at 4-4. When Bremen went down to 10 men, we thought we a chance to win it. We played good, but it wasn’t enough. We had too many mistakes as a team. Whenever you get beat by a team with a man down, it’s even worse. It was a very tough loss, but it showed that we could hang with any team in the league.

Goal.com: The German press mentioned your offsides as being a big call. Your teammate Salihovic was overlapping from the midfield and could have had a one-on-one with goalie if you hadn’t played the ball.

Ibisevic: I looked sideways and thought I was on side. Yeah, afterwards reviewing the film, I wasn’t. Coach Rangnick analyzed the game with us on film for an hour on specific points of the game. He also spoke individually to us.

Goal.com: How do feel your chances are with Bosnia advancing in the group that includes Turkey and Spain?

Ibisevic: It’s a tough group. Both Turkey and Spain are good teams. It’s still early and anything can happen. Our defense is still improving and our offensive game is our strength. Just about the entire team plays in the top leagues of Europe. We lost 1-0 to Spain but we had our chances. We beat Estonia 7-0. It’s only because of my play at Hoffenheim that I was considered and nominated for the Bosnia team.

Goal.com: Your family came to the States when you were still a teenager. How did that come about?

Ibisevic: Well, after the war, jobs were scarce for my parents and the economy was bad. We moved to Switzerland and then we were offered the opportunity to come to the United States and we took it. My family still lives in the St. Louis area and I come back as often as I can. The US has been very good to me and my family.

Goal.com: What were your first impressions of soccer in the United States?

Ibisevic: Well, where were the soccer fields? All I saw was baseball and football fields. I was disappointed that soccer wasn’t a big sport in the United States. It didn’t change my plans on wanting to be professional soccer player. I just had to work harder.

Goal.com: What do you remember about your time in high school and later at St. Louis University?

Ibisevic: It was great. I really enjoyed playing high school soccer and for the Busch team. The Busch team prepared me for the college game. The transition wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. The experience at St. Louis was great. We had a good team.

Goal.com: Have you had any thoughts about playing in the MLS?

Ibisevic: No, not really. I certainly haven’t been approached by any team from the MLS. I am still young and who knows? For right now, my future is here in Germany and Europe.

Goal.com: Did you ever think of playing for the United States?

Ibisevic: Well, yes and no. I have a green card but not a US passport. But really, I wasn’t approached at the right time. Mike Sorber [then an assistant coach at St. Louis Univ.; currently US national team assistant coach] was encouraging me, but the timing wasn’t right.

Goal.com: Do you keep in touch with your friends back in the States?

Ibisevic: Sure. Every time I fly back to visit my family in St. Louis and also through the internet.

Goal.com: Is that the same for your childhood friends in Bosnia?

Ibisevic: Oh, yeah. They have followed my progress in Germany. We see each other when I come to Bosnia for home games.

Goal.com: You have lived in 5 countries with 4 different languages. Is it confusing?

Ibisevic: It’s one of the things I most proud of is to be able to speak different languages. It makes life much easier when you can converse in the language of the country where you live.

Goal.com: How is it living here in the rural area of Sinsheim? Are you even recognized on the streets?

Ibisevic: Quiet, very quiet. Not a lot of distractions, but people recognize me more than before.
