Quoting JoKeR (Reply 1):
Personally, I would have preferred if the "SkySrpska" project was "united" with BH Airlines and more aircraft were acquired
That would be a logical approach. BH Airlines is barely making it although their load factors are not too bad. This country probably can't support one airline. There is no way it can support more.
These ventures are usually the result of politics and this is something Dodik clearly wants to do.
In a country with 14 ministries of transportation, it is not surprising there are too many airlines. There is little cooperation on business ventures between Mostar, Sarajevo and Banja Luka except when it involves mutual theft. I am afraid this will likely be a tool to smuggle things into the EU.
It is the same in the federation.
One of the former versions of Air Bosna was making unscheduled stops in Tuzla on flights from Turkey. We can only guess what corruption that was and who was getting off the plane in Tuzla where there are no border guards.
sta mislite kako uopte skysrpska ima par aviona
