we played against Sebatspor for an away match today in Trabzon.

just before our Champions League match against Sparta Prag on wednesday it was a slow game but we manage to win 4-1.

After Ogun(player of Sebatspor) make an own goal for Fenerbahce at 8th minute, Sebatspor made score 1-1 at 57th minutes.

And after Nobre's substitution Fenerbahce made 3 more goal with Alex de Souza (83') and Marcio Nobre (88', 89'). And the score was 1-4 when the final whistle heard.

Now we are waiting for our guests... We will play against Sparta on wednesday in our field.

We are ready for a nice start.

last night (September 15th 2004) for our first of match of this season's champions league group matches, Fenerbahce played against Sparta Praha in Sukru Saracoglu Stadium/Istanbul.

With the goal of Pierre Van Hooijdonk in 16th minutes, we win the game with the score of 1-0 and became leader at Group D after the first matches.

after the Champions League match against Sparta Prag, this weekend we played against Malatyaspor in Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

I was again at the stadium with my friends of Fenerbahce fans and also with my brother.

Malatyaspor scored in 7th minutes, but neither Malatyaspor nor Referee Ismet Arzuman could manage to stop Fenerbahce from taking 3 points.

With the goal of Nobre in 43th minutes the score had been 1-1 when the whistle for first half heard.

And with the start of second half Nobre made his second goal with the assist of Deniz. And the assister was Nobre for 3rd goal of Fenerbahce. Deniz made score 3-1 and the crowd happy.

Deniz scored 3rd goal of Fenerbahce and he assisted the 2nd goal of Nobre.

yesterday night we played against Genclerbirligi in Ankara.

this was our last game before our match which will be played against Manchester United in 28th of September (this tuesday).

so it was important for us not to lose any points before that match.

Fenerbahce was on the field with; Rüştü Reçber, Deniz Barış, Fabio Luciano, Servet Çetin, Ümit Özat, Serkan Balcı, Marco Aurelio, Alex de Souza, Tuncay Şanlı, Pierre van Hooijdonk, Marcio Nobre.

we started the game with attacks, but couldnt make a goal and first half ended without any goal.

with the start of second half Genclerbirligi made the score 1-0, but there was our Coach Christoph Daum who didnt like the score. He made three substitutions Mehmet Yozgatli, Murat Hacioglu and Fabiano Lima Rodriguez for Tuncay Sanli, Umit Ozat and Deniz Baris.

The minutes passed without goal. And when it was last 5 minutes to the end, Alex de Souza appeared and scored equalizer goal gorgeously.

And 5 minutes later he scored his second goal with the assist of Mehmet Yozgatli.

With these two goals of last 5 minutes Fenerbahce make the score 1-2.

It was a magnificent end for Fenerbahce fans, we were crazy when the match ended. Thanks Allah we win it. and thanks Fenerbahce for their making us happy again

We hope to do the same to Manchester United in Old Trafford, we wish luck to our players.

Man Utd v Fenerbahce (Tue)

Paul Scholes is out with a groin strain and will miss the visit of the Turkish side who ended Manchester United's unbeaten home European record.

Wayne Rooney is fit to make his debut for United, but boss Sir Alex Ferguson is yet to decide whether to play him from the start or put him on the bench.

Fenerbahce will definitely be without the suspended Servet Cetin and Kemal Arslan is out with a leg injury.

The experienced Pierre van Hooijdonk will pose most threat for the visitors.

About the game;
Because our central defence player Servet Cetin had seen a RED CARD in last match against Sparta Prag, Christoph Daum let Fatih Akyel to play instead of him.

Manchester United Coach Alex Ferguson, let Wayne Rooney to play for MUFC first time in this match, he played together with Ruud van Nistelrooy at forward. Rooney was lucky and he scored 3 goal, and became the star of last nights game.

There was 67.128 spectator watching the game at stadium, 2500 of them was Fenerbahce fans.

And the game;
Fenerbahce started the game with a great panic. We werent playing like the previous games. Every player was trying to send the ball to another one, and everyone was afraid of making mistake.

Manchester scored first goal at 7th minutes after Fatih Akyel's loosing ball in midfield. Djemba assisted for Giggs, and he scored a header. Soon after the first goal Rooney scored their second goal with the assist of Nistelrooj at 17th minutes.

After their second goal Fenerbahce started to play with the ball. And the goal came from a corner. Alex assisted and Nobre scored but the Referees didnt like it. So the score didnt change.

Ten minutes after in 28th minutes, Rooney scored his second and their 3rd goal with an away shoot.

We cant forget the referees decision of not sending Nistelrooj out after his seeing that guy's making foul to Luciano. Nistelrooj tried to injure Luciano, but referee showed Yellow card to Aurelio.

And the first half finished with 3 goals.

Second half;
Just after the second half's starting Nobre scored again with the assist of Alex, and the score became 3-1 at 46th minute.

But the referees again didnt like our play, we were controlling the ball, controlling the game, and making possessions for goal in these minutes. Just after Alex's shoot, referee created a freekick (like a penalty) for Rooney to score and the score became 4-1.

5 minutes after their goal, we showed that we dont want to give up so easy, and scored 2nd goal with Tuncay.

We have found new possessions, but couldnt manage to score a new goal.

And Manchester scored 2 more goals with Nistelrooj and Bellion at 78th and 82nd minutes, and the game finished 6-2.

If we look generally to the match, we can see that we losed because of our fear in the first half. We were playing like real Fenerbahce in the second half, but it was too late.

Other match of the group D finished with the score Sparta Prag 1 - 2 Lyon. And Fenerbahce settled to 3rd place of the group with 3 points just after Manchester with 4 points at first position, Lyon with 4 points at second position.

Next match will be against Lyon on 18th of October in Sukru Saracoglu.

We need to win. And we will win insallah....

After losing against Manchester, yesterday we played against Denizlispor in our field Sukru Saracaoglu Stadium.

It was an exciting game because we couldnt manage to score till in was 68th minute. And also it was exciting that we scored our second goal just before the final whistle.

We will be champion again insallah, but it's not enough for us to be champion only in Turkiye, we will be better in Europe as we play more.

We have skillfull players and they only need experiment and our support to win...

Our Brazilian star Alex couldnt turn from his country because of some health problems in his family so were playing without him. But anyway all the game was under control of Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce controlled the ball, Fenerbahce made attacks, Fenerbahce shooted and at the end, Pierre Van Hooijdonk scored with shoot from 30 meters to Kenan Hasagic who is goalkeeper of Bosnian National Team.

And we won the game 1-0 in Antep city. Fenerbahce is leader in Turkish Super League with 25 points and, the team in the second position has 23 points.

On Tuesday (19 October 2004), we will play against Olympique Lyonnais in Sukru Saracoglu Stadium(Istanbul), for our 3rd Champions League match.

This will be a great match. We are leader in our Turkish League, and we would like to be leader in GROUP D of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE also.

Have you got any pictures of Lyon supporters or perhaps joint picture of their players after their victory tonight. They are rubish mate and you've still got beaten by them at home!
It's time for you to start supporting the one and only Zeljeznicar Football Club. We've got no money, but supporters are the best! Can you imagine when Zeljeznicar played Hearts from Scotland last year hundreds of supporters traveled from Bosnia regardless that they'd to obtain visas to UK prior to their travel. Which is not easy if you live in Bosnia.
Sparta played well against Man. Utd tonight as well so I think that you are out. But there is always next year!

Last night Fenerbahce played against Olympique Lyonnais for a Champions League match in Istanbul. We started to the both halves of the game very effective but couldn’t manage to score.

In the first half Rustu played as goalkeeper, Serkan - right back, Luciano - central defense, Servet - central defense, Umit - left back, Aurelio and Deniz as defensive midfield, and Nobre-Hooijdonk and Tuncay as forward.

We started the game with aggressive and effective football, and shooted some shots to their goalkeeper. But couldn’t manage to score. Because in the first half we mostly used left wing for attacks, Daum made the substitution of Deniz-Mehmet Yozgatli.

Together with substitution, we again take control of the game and started to use right wing also. But again couldn’t score a goal. Then Lyon come closer to our field and take control of the game. Scored 2 goals in 10 minutes, when our players lost their self confidence. After that we scored with Nobre but there was nothing from the fans to win the game. Most of them were sitting and the match finished with the score; 1-3.

last night (24 october 2004 sunday) we played against Sakaryaspor in our stadium. The game was excellent for Fenerbahce. And also the score: 6-0...

After that unlucky Champions League match in our field against Lyonnais, first eleven of our team was such;

I kod nas je isto - ovog nastupajućeg vikenda jedan prvenstveni meč koji se do ovoga označavao sa gradskim derbijem ali

više nije derbi već samo susret Golijata i Davida ( umjesto praćke imaju tepsije

) tako da neće biti možda kao protiv Sakaryaspora - ali kako je Fenerbahče

Istambul, half of your team are Brasilians. Has that got anything to do with building the squad up. You are the same as Man. Utd is now in England or as Red Star used to be in former Yugoslavia. Somebody in your club's got the money and I am sure they don't give a shit about supporters. Just a big business. And still you are not doing well in the Chapions League.

we will do better in Champions League better, dont worry Edin. Our Turkish players has a lot to learn from those Brazilian stars; Alex de Souza (captain of Brazilian National team), Aurelio (very skillful defensive midfield), Marcio Nobre (very talented forward).

Next year we will have less foreigner, so this year we need to use those players as a teacher for our young Turkish players.

We r trying to play more game this year in Champions League, if we play more, most of our young players will get experience on European matches.

last night we played against besiktas in their stadium for 11th week of Turkish Super League.

Our only goal is from Pierre van Hooijdonk which made the score 2-1 in 70th minutes.

Because besiktas was 16 points down from us, and near to going second division of Turkish League, they were under a great pressure. Together with their hard play and their fans cryings, they made young referee Firat Aydinus in pressure.

Okan, Carew, Ibrahim, Emre, Sergen from Besktas have seen as so unfairly players. They did everything to make our star players to not play; everytime they make foul to Alex, to Pierre and also to Nobre who left the game because he injured from his ear.

We were not playing so well for last matches, but without this referee besiktas wouldnt have beaten us. Stupid besiktas left winger Ibrahim touched to the ball in the penalty area and went to the dressing room, but we couldnt score after that 70th minutes.

So know besiktas 13 points down from us. Congratulations !

Living Turkish League one side, we will play against Lyonnais on wednesday. we have 3 points. If we take 3 points more this will be good for going to secound round. If we cant do, than we will fight for going to UEFA Cup.

I hope this boys again will start to show their real football. We believe in Alex de Souza and we believe in Fenerbahce...
