THE GREEN PAGES
[31.05.07]

Trips, Ideas for Walks, Outdoor Activities, Cultural Trips, Sustainable Development and Environmental News here in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From: Green Visions, Bosnia's First Eco Tourism Group

Dear Green Visionaries,

This weekend we have two trips featuring in one way or another waterfalls. Due to the heavy rains, various waterfalls and cascades have sprung up or significantly increased their size making these trips a truly magical experience. On Saturday we do a great hike to Skakavac (grasshopper) waterfall. It's only a few kilometers out of town, that you find this giant hidden in thick pine and beechwood forests. Sunday, we visit Bjelasnica's neighbor, Visocica. During this easy hike you get glimpses of Peruce waterfall, our favorite stop on our Lukomir trip, but this time from the other side of Rakitnica canyon. You will have to cross several smaller waterfalls to get there so bring along your sturdy/waterproof shoes!

JOB VACANCY WITH GREEN VISIONS: Our dear colleague Vesna is getting married and leaving us. She will be exchanging our beautiful mountains for her Sheik and the endless deserts of Dubai. As a result of Vesna's departure we are looking for a new colleague to help us out in our reception and administration department. The ideal candidate shares our passion for Bosnia and Herzegovina, its multitude of people and pristine nature, is extremely well organized and meticulous, speaks and writes English fluently, and loves to provide administrative, financial, and logistical support to the organization. If you have previous administrative experience and are interested in applying for the position or know anyone who fits this description please email your/their curriculum vitae to sarajevo@greenvisio ns.ba . Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
