https://www.bild.de/politik/ausland/pol ... .bild.htmlFrom tomorrow morning, the last most important connection for Russian natural gas to Germany will be shut down. Annually recurring maintenance work on the Nord Stream 1 Baltic Sea pipeline makes this necessary – the operator had already announced this some time ago. Ten days (until 21 July) are estimated for the maintenance work – but there is now a fear in the Federal Government that the repair break could become a permanent closure of the pipeline. Is Putin turning off the gas for us forever?
Due to the threat of a gas stop, more and more cities in Germany are already preparing for the state of emergency. Example Ludwigshafen (Rhineland-Palatinate): halls are to be set up here in which citizens can warm up who can no longer afford heating. "We are currently preparing for all emergency scenarios with a view to autumn and winter," said Mayor Jutta Steinruck (59, SPD). The Friedrich-Ebert-Halle is to serve as the central warm-up station.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/ ... ourt-findsA German soldier with far-right views has been found guilty of planning to carry out “false flag” attacks on senior politicians and public figures while successfully posing as a Syrian refugee. Frankfurt’s Higher Regional Court on Friday sentenced Franco Albrecht, 33, to five and a half years in prison for plotting a “serious act of violent subversion”, violating German arms and explosives laws and two accounts of fraud.
A fingerprint match revealed that the graduate of prestigious Saint-Cyr military academy had led a double life as a Syrian Christian asylum seeker. Under the false identity David Benjamin, he had registered with authorities in the Bavarian town of Erding and was granted asylum. During the trial, Albrecht confessed to impersonating and drawing benefits as a Syrian refugee, as well as the illegal possession of weapons, explosives and ammunition. The purpose of his double identity, Albrecht claimed, was to expose how easy it was to exploit the German asylum system.

SmokingMan wrote: ↑24/07/2022 23:27 Ima li ko kakvih informacija o novom korigovanom zakonu o radu u Germaniji?
https://www.focus.de/finanzen/drastisch ... 68432.htmlDrastic price increase for all customers of "Rhein-Energie": The energy supplier announced on Monday that the prices for gas will rise massively as of October 1.
In the case of natural gas, the working price for the kilowatt hour of natural gas consumed rises from 7.87 cents to 18.30 cents per kilowatt hour - gas is then around 133 percent more expensive. In the case of district heating, the price will rise to "around 705 euros/year in 2022, whereby the expected price adjustment as of 1 October 2022 is already included here."
"In a Cologne apartment with 10,000 kilowatt hours of annual consumption, the annual costs increase to around 2,002 euros (previously: around 960 euros), which is an increase of about 108 percent," says the Group's press release. If you have an annual requirement of 15,000 kilowatt hours, you have to expect around 2,918 euros (previously: approx. 1,353 euros), which is almost 116 percent more.
