From the Slim Jim Phantom website:

"We're excited to announce details of Jim's next European tour. The Slim Jim Phantom trio will be rockin' through Europe in 2008 from 13th May to 8th June.
Joining Jim will be the awesome guitarist Mark Harman (Restless / Space Cadets) and bassist Paul Lambourne aka Choppy (The Caravans / The Pharaohs / Demented Are Go).
Support for the tour will be by German rockers Built 4 Speed.
The tour starts in Spain and will be hitting France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium and the UK."

Ladies and Gentlemen, The FIREBALLS !

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia Eddie Fury (drums, lead vocals) , Joe Phantom (double bass, vocals) and Matt Black (guitar, vocals) got together in May 1990 from disparate elements of the local rockabilly scene to form the FIREBALLS, one of Melbourne's most popular and loved bands.
Influenced equally by punk, heavy metal, and fifties rock'n'roll, their intention from the start was to blow the revivalist shackles off the exciting but purist rockabilly form and fuel inject it with a dangerous and original edge, which immediately put them off side with the traditional followers as well as the associated booking agents and venue owners.
Not to be deterred, the FIREBALLS immediately headed for the hot dusty Australian roads where they quickly established a rabid and diverse following which broke attendance records at many Australian venues.
The FIREBALLS high energy show, as well as their thrash metal influenced psychobilly, earned them support tours with KISS, 5,6,7,8's, Dick Dale, The Supersuckers, Porno for Pyros, Midnight Oil and Primus. The FIREBALLS have also played slots on all of Australia's major festivals including the 1995 Big day Out tour.
The FIREBALLS have been one of Australia's hardest touring bands with a punishing touring schedule which saw them travel the East and West coasts of Australia constantly for the next eight years. This commitment to the road saw the band greatly expand their audience in regional Australia as well as the Capitals, and created a cottage industry of merchandise which included the usual shirts etc, and more esoteric items such as comic books (featuring… themselves!) and temporary tattoos.

Great psychobilly band. Band Members Sparky, Stan and Johnny Gizmo were surrounded by many guest musicians, like Doyley, Strangy & Lex Luther.
Influences Well, what makes Demented Scumrats more interesting or better than "Demented Are Go", phheeww nothing , but a lot also. The music is nearly similar but the sound is much fuller and better than DAG. The arrangements are brilliant and close to the good ol Kicked Out Of Hell days. White Stocking Tops, Snail Train, Hillside Strangler and Dont Want You gave (and give) Mark the chance to use all his voice and lyric talents. Backed by a bunch of 1st class Psychobilly musicians nothing could go wrong.Sounds Like Demented are go.
Demented Scumcats is formed for Sparky (Demented Are Go!) and Klingonz members.

"Mad Sin Australian Tour POSTPONED!

Its words that all psychobilly fans throughout Australia never wanted to hear, but due to circumstances beyond everyones control the tour has been postponed due to practical complications.

All parties involved tried everything in their power to make this tour go ahead but were unsuccesful....But the boys will def be coming out early 2008 as it gives everyone involved more time to organise and

fix these problems at hand.

Both the band and us here at Creepshow Promotions wish to apologise to all those out there who have been counting the hours that Mad Sin grace our shores, though like stated above its a problem that is out of everyones hands but will be fixed asap for a fresh new tour in 2008.

We are currently working out ticket details and refunds for all you fine people out there who bought tickets to the shows. We are hopefully going to organise a way for you to exchange your tickets for the future shows in 2008.

Yes, now it is official: the anniversary album is out on nov 9th in Germany and on nov 12th in the rest of Europe on People Like You, in the States in the end of nov on Hepcat and in Japan at the beginning of december.
CD 1 includes 7 brand new tracks, 2 rare b-sides, some cover versions and pretty unknown material and CD 2 the Live in Hollywood album produced by Moses Schneider and two live video clips!
A lot of pix from 87 to 07 and liner notes written by Koefte deVille himself will be held in the booklet. The digipack version will also hold a limited badge and one more track!
Sooo, a hell lot of stuff (30 trax and 2 live clips) for your rockin Mad Sin collection at the price of one!

PSYCHOBILLY NEWS:

Sarah Sin will now takeover as lead singer/guitarist of The Creepshow!

Well, it's been a crazy year for the creepshow......Hellcat got preggers and had a beautiful baby girl lilly-mae! During her "maternity leave", we were lucky enough to have a perfect "fill-in" in hellcat's sister SARAH SIN! She learned the songs super fast, and we immediately got in the van and showed her what touring is all about! Her 1st tour was 6 weeks in europe, where we got to share the stage with bands like The Meteors, Demented are Go, Frantic Flintstones, Mad Sin and Frenzy......She also got to experience the down side of touring, when we got robbed in spain, and then a few days later she got a virus, and ended up in a german hospital and stayed overnight.....The next morning we picked her up and she played a show that night! for that , she wins the "toughest bitch in rock n' roll" award!

since that tour, we've gone back to spain and played the calella psychobilly meeting, did a full canadian tour, and 3 weeks in the u.s. including 2 nights at the hollywood showdown, and made it back home all in one piece!

In between tours, Hellcat, and the rest of the Creepshow agreed that it would work out best for all of us if we continue with Sarah Sin as our lead singer, and Hellcat would start her own band and go solo!

There are no bad feelings between us, and we wish her the best of luck in her new project Hellcat and the Prowl! She will also be making one last appearence in the video for "THE GARDEN" which we will be shooting on oct.21st! We will put it up as soon as it's done!

In other news! we have been super busy in our shirt time off writing songs for the new record with Sarah, and we couldn't be more excited!!!

We will also be making our 1st trip to the u.k.!!!! just over two weeks of dates, including London with Demented Are Go, and The Psychobilly Bash in Birmingham w/the Meteors!!!! Plus 2 dates in Germany , and 2 in Finland!!! Check the tourdates for more info......

We have also just been added to some dates on the "20 years of Sin" Mad Sin tour in december!!!!! there are a few german dates and it looks like we'll be visiting our friends in Prague, Czech Republic!
