Iraqis are 30km far from Fish Kahbor from Rabiaa side (Peshmerga are in Mahmodia and Walid village). From Zummar side Iraqis are about 35km far from Fish Khabor (Peshmerga are in Ahmad Aghah and Ain Ewes villages).

As the #Iran-ian government has not helped its own people, Kurds are arriving from around Rojhelat with supplies to help other Kurds in need. Man thanks them as the "Sons of Qandil".

Peaceful protests have broken out in eastern (Iranian) #Kurdistan after that an old man who went to help the earthquake victims died in a car accident. The Kurdish people are expressing their anger at the regime in #Iran who have not helped the earthquake victims.

Demonstration right now in Iranian occupied #Kurdistan, slogans: Our struggle and our unity, Long live our brotherhood. Kermashar is Rojhelat, #Kurdistan is one country.

Iranian Kurds turn funeral of earthquake victims into political protests chanting "Kurdistan is one country... Kirkuk is also Rozhalat".

Rozhalat (eastern Kurdistan) is name Kurds give to Iranian Kurdish areas.

I don't (& don' recommend) sharing the videos for people's safety.

Here is a video of one of the protests (no faces are shown) where Iranian Kurds chant for Kirkuk calling it the "heart of Kurdistan"

The Kirkuk events, Iran's role in them & Iran government's failure after the earthquake all are contributing factors for this emotional explosion

That is for sure. Kurdish nationalism has always been there. But its manifestations and its degree have differed. I sense that Kurds in Iran were even more enthusiastic about the referendum than many in Iraqi Kurdistan.
