This photo shows a group of Jewish women from the Mizocz Ghetto in Ukraine waiting in line for their execution by German Nazis. In this heartbreaking picture you can see them standing naked awaiting their deaths, some even holding babies.
This is a trick one- it’s not actually a historical photo, although we bet you thought it was. This is actually from the Vintage Pin-Up Runway Show in New York in 2014.
The show celebrated vintage fashion style, especially drawing inspiration from the pin-up klix of the 50’s.
This is a photograph from 1915 of the Armenian genocide. You can see Turkish officials teasing starving Armenian children by holding pieces of bread over their heads.
During the Armenian genocide, the Ottomans killed around one million Armenians in Turkey.
