U Srebrenici genocid. A u ostatku Bosne etnicka ciscenja i Udruzeni Zlocinacki Poduhvati i slicno.

Daj ba. Nidze veze poredzenje.

Genocid u Srebrenici , znaci nema genocida u ostatku BiH .

Hoces nam dati podatke o genocidu nad Kurdima u istocnoj Anadoliji?

Nije istina.

After the Russo-Turkish War of 1877–78, the Kurdish Sheikh Ubeydullah began his rebellion to create an independent Kurdistan in 1880, fearing that Armenians - with European support - would cave out an independent Armenia which would include Kurdish-populated areas.[7] Despite tensions with the Armenians over the two competing nationalisms, Sheikh Ubeydullah ordered his men to not harm Armenians when they commenced their invasion of Iran in September 1880. To insure this, he issued a fatwa which strictly ordered the rebels to not harm any Armenian. Moreover, the Sheikh was aware of the fact that the Sublime Portewished to use his rebellion as an excuse to massacre the Armenian and Nestorianpopulation in the region. Regarding this, he held a speech in Şemdinli in 1880, wherein he stated: "If until now the Sublime Porte has supported the Kurds in every way, it is done because of the desire to counter its Christian elements in Anatolia; and if the Armenians are eliminated here, the Kurds will lose their importance for the Turkish government." In a letter to the Kurdish Sheikh of Eleşkirt, Sheikh Ubeydullah also stated that he liked the Armenians much more than the Persians and the Turks. In spite of being a failure, the uprising generated sympathy among the Armenian population and Grigor Artsrunireacted by stating that: "The Armenian, Assyrian and Kurdish populations of Armenia finally are beginning to understand that they are all inhabitants of Armenia, with the same interests, that the oppression of Turkey equally troubles them all." Moreover, Kurdish schools were opened by Armenians in the mixed towns of Muş, Bitlis, Kiğı and Eleşkirt. There were also attempts to open Armenian schools in Kurdish-populated areas. The reason for this move was the belief among Armenian intellectuals that the Kurds should be wooed to prevent the Kurds from uniting with the Ottoman Empire. The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation also called for cooperation with the Kurds.[8]
Regarding this, he held a speech in Şemdinli in 1880, wherein he stated: "If until now the Sublime Porte has supported the Kurds in every way, it is done because of the desire to counter its Christian elements in Anatolia; and if the Armenians are eliminated here, the Kurds will lose their importance for the Turkish government."
Uprkos tenzijama i povremenim sukobima, jer su se kurdski i armenski seljaci nasli u sendvicu izmedju dva vojno-politicka gorostasa, ruskog i osmanskog carstva, imali su dobre odnose.

...

In 1891, the activity of the Armenian Committees induced the Ottoman Porte to strengthen the position of the Kurds by raising a body of irregular cavalry, which was well-armed and called Hamidieh, after the Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Some Kurdish tribal leaders were given high positions. The system of double taxation sparked new found enmity between Turkish chieftains (aga) and the Armenians and Kurds agrarian community who perceived Kurdish taxation as exploitation. When Armenian spokesmen confronted the Turkish aga, it brought about enmity between both populations during which the events at Sason and Moush 1893 occurred.[9]

At the turn of the 20th century, most Armenians were peasants, who were exploited and oppressed by their Turkish feudal beys. According to the Russian vice-consul Tumanskii, Armenian peasants were treated as serfs attached to some Turkish chief. They were sold as property, and if Kurd killed a serf, the latter's master took revenge by killing a serf belonging to the murderer.[10]

Fearing Armenian-Kurdish cooperation, the Ottoman Empire was induced to subordinate the Kurds and use them as an instrument to prevent any Armenian attempt to self-rule. While the forced recruitment to the Hamidiye cavalry pushed many Kurds to rebel (notably the Kurds of Murat river), some tribes like the Mazrik tribe chose to take part in the cavalry. Russian consul Ivanov explained in his writings that the Turks oppressed the Kurds who did not join the cavalry by provoking tribal feuds or attacking them when they descended from the mountains to the summer mountain camps during winter.[11]

https://www.reddit.com/r/Turkey/comment ... de_claims/
Once again, the "Armenian genocide" claims are discussed, this time because of a fictional movie. It must be emphasized:

Genocide is a legal concept, defined in 1948. In addition to the fact that the convention is not retroactive, R. Lemkin, regularly used by the Armenian side as a reference, had no role in the shaping of the concept, as his own definition of the word was extremely vague and large: inogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/WeissWendt.pdf (first page, last paragraph). There is no evidence for a specific place of the Armenian case in Lemkin's writings and theories: dailysabah.com/opinion/2014/09/11/many-genocides-of-raphael-lemkin

Moreover, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled:

“In any event, it is even doubtful that there could be a “general consensus”, in particular a scientific one, on events such as those that are in question here, given that historical research is by definition open to debate and discussion and hardly lends itself to definitive conclusions or objective and absolute truths (see, in this sense, judgment no. 235/2007 of the Spanish constitutional court, paragraphs 38-40 above). In this regard, the present case is clearly distinct from cases bearing on denial of the Holocaust crimes (see, for example, the case of Robert Faurisson v. France, brought by Committee on 8 November 1996, Communication no. 550/1993, Doc. CCPR/C/58/D/550/1993 (1996)). Firstly, the applicants in these cases had not only contested the simple legal description of a crime, but denied historic facts, sometimes very concrete ones, for example the existence of gas chambers. Secondly, the sentences for crimes committed by the Nazi regime, of which these persons deny the existence, had a clear legal basis, i.e. Article 6, paragraph c), of the Statutes of the International Military Tribunal (in Nuremberg), attached to the London Agreement of 8 August 1945 (paragraph 19 above). Thirdly, the historic facts called into question by the interested parties had been judged to be clearly established by an international jurisdiction.” hudoc.echr.coe.int/eng?i=001-139276

And the Grand chamber has confirmed the decision.

So, keep calm, and prepare your arguments, this is a debate.

2) The claims that the Ottoman Armenians were persecuted by the Hamidian state (1876-1908) or the Young Turks (1908-1918) are completely baseless.

No community furnished more civil servants, proportionally to its population, to the Hamidian state than the Armenians, in eastern Anatolia (Mesrob K. Krikorian, Armenians in the Service of the Ottoman Empire, 1860-1908, London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1977). In 1896, twenty years after Abdülhamit II arrived in power, 20% of the best paid civil servants in Istanbul were Armenians (Sidney Whitman, Turkish Memories, New York-London: Charles Schribner’s Sons/William Heinemann, 1914, p. 19), and, as late as 1905, 13% of the personel in the Ottoman ministry of Foreign Affairs were Armenians (Carter Vaughn Findley, Ottoman Civil Officialdom: A Social History, Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1989, p. 96).

In spite of its name in the West ("Young Turks"), the Committee Union and Progress (CUP) was not a Turkish nationalist party. One of the CUP leaders, Bedros Hallaçyan, was an Armenian. Hallaçyan was elected as a member of the Ottoman Parliament in 1908, reelected in 1912 and 1914. He served as minister from 1909 to 1912, then was promoted as a member of the CUP's central committee in 1913. In 1915, he was appointed as representative of the Empire at the International Court of Arbitration. He went back in 1916 to chair the committee in charge of rewriting the Ottoman code of commerce.

Similarly, Oskan Mardikian served as CUP minister of PTT from 1913 to 1914, Artin Bosgezenyan as CUP deputy of Aleppo from 1908 to the end of the First World War, Hrant Abro as legal advisor of the Ottoman ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1914 to 1918, Berç Keresteciyan as general manager of the Ottoman Bank from 1914 to 1927, and so on.

3) The relocations of 1915-1916 were decided as a counter-insurgency measure, as the Armenian revolutionists were a major threat for the Ottoman army. Indeed, having fought the Ottoman state for decades (rebellions in Zeytun in 1862, 1878, 1895-96, in Van in 1896, attack of the Ottoman Bank in 1896, plots to kill Abdülhamit and to destroy Izmir in 1905, assassination of the pro-CUP mayor of Van, Bedros Kapamaciyan, in 1912, etc.) they now helped the Russian invasion and did their best to pave the way for a Franco-British landing in Iskenderun or Mersin.

It is true that the majority of the Ottoman Armenians were not revolutionists, but this remark is irrelevant. Indeed, about 500,000 were not relocated at all, and if about 700,000 others were actually relocated, it was because the Ottoman army had no other choice. Indeed, most of the military units were fighting the Russian army in the Caucasus, or the British, the French and the ANZAC in the Dardanelles, or the British in Egypt and Kuweit. As a result, the only remaining method to suppress the insurrections was to relocate the Armenian civilians, who helped the insurgents, willingly or by force (it never make any difference, from a military point of view).

About the counter-insurgency issue and its background, see, among others:

a) This article by Edward J. Erickson, professor at the Marine Corps University, in "Middle East Critique" (Routledge): mfa.gov.tr/data/dispolitika/ermeniiddialari/edward-j_-erickson-the-armenian-relocations-and-ottoman-national-security_-military-necessity-of-excuse-for-genocide.pdf

4) Turkey and the historians who reject the "Armenian genocide" label do not deny the existence of crimes perpetrated against Armenian civilians. But these crimes were punished, as much as the Ottoman government could: from February to May 1916 only, 67 Muslims were sentenced to death, 524 to jail and 68 to hard labor or imprisonment in forts (Yusuf Halaçoglu, The Story of 1915—What Happened to the Ottoman Armenians, Ankara: Türk Tarih Kurumu, 2008, pp. 82–87; Yusuf Sarınay, “The Relocation (Tehcir) of Armenians and the Trials of 1915–1916”, Middle East Critique, Vol. 3, No. 20, Fall 2011, pp. 299–315).

No mainstream political party in Turkey is proud of the Muslim war-time criminals. On the other hand, Armenian war criminals, such as Antranik, and even those who joined the Third Reich's forces, such as Dro and Nzhdeh, are official heroes of Armenia. They are also celebrated by the main organizations of the Armenian diaspora, particularly the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.

5) The 1915-16 relocations by the Ottoman army are not the only reason for the Ottoman Armenian losses (migration and deaths) during and after the WWI: academia.edu/11940511/The_Armenian_Forced_Relocation_Putting_an_End_to_Misleading_Simplifications (pp. 112-122).

6) The Turkish and Ottoman archives in Istanbul and Ankara are open, including to supporters of the "Armenian genocide" label, such as Ara Sarafian, Hilmar Kaiser, Taner Akçam or Garabet Krikor Moumdjian. The Armenian archives in Yerevan, Paris, Jerusalem, Toronto or Watertown (Massachusetts) are closed, including to the Armenian historians who are perceived as not sufficiently nationalist, such as Ara Sarafian.

Govorim o nedavnoj historiji i proslosti, i o pretcima njihovim. Drzali ljude u kavezima u Belgiji itd.

Skoro ista.

Imaju dokazi o ubijenim Muslimanima u tim brojkama. A nisu ubijeni u jednoj godini. Nego u duzem vremenskom razdoblju kao i Armenci.

Cuj smanji ribu.

Historian Uğur Ümit Üngör noted that during the Russian invasion of Ottoman lands, "many atrocities were carried out against the local Turks and Kurds by the Russian army and Armenian volunteers."[71] A large part of the local Muslim Turks and Kurds fled west after the Russian invasion of 1916.[72] According to J. Rummel at least 128,000 Muslims were killed by Russian troops and Armenian irregulars during the period between 1915–1916. A further 40,000 Muslims were killed by Armenian troops in the region occupied by Russian troops between 1917 and 1918.[73]
According to historian Justin McCarthy, between the years 1821–1922, from the beginning of the Greek War of Independence to the end of the Ottoman Empire, five million Muslims were driven from their lands and another five and one-half million died, some of them killed in wars, others perishing as refugees from starvation or disease.[1]

According to Michael Mann McCarthy is often viewed as a scholar on the Turkish side of the debate over Balkan Muslim death figures.[87] Mann however states that even if those figures were reduced "by as much as 50 percent, they still would horrify".[87] In the discussion about the Armenian Genocide, McCarthy denies the genocide and is considered as the leading pro-Turkish scholar.[88][89] Scholarly critics of McCarthy acknowledge that his research on Muslim civilian casualties and refugee numbers (19th and early 20th centuries) has brought forth a valuable perspective, previously neglected in the Christian West: that millions of Muslims and Jews also suffered and died during these years.[90][91] Donald W. Bleacher, though acknowledging that McCarthy is pro-Turkish nonetheless has called his scholarly study Death and Exile on Muslim civilian casualties and refugee numbers "a necessary corrective" challenging the West's model of all victims being Christians and all perpetrators as being Muslims.[91]

Historian Mark Biondich estimates that from 1878-1912 up to two million Muslims left the Balkans either voluntarily or involuntarily while Muslims casualties in the Balkans during 1912-1923 within the context of those killed and expelled exceeded some three million.[92]

Total Muslim deaths and refugees during these centuries are estimated to be several millions.[93] It is estimated that during the last decade of the Ottoman Empire (1912–1922) when the Balkan wars, World War I and war of Independence took place, close to 2 million Muslims, civilian and military, died in the area of modern Turkey.[94]

The forced mass displacement of Muslims out of the Balkans during the era of territorial contraction of the Ottoman Empire has only become a topic of recent scholarly interest in the 21st century.[95]
Muslim heritage was extensively targeted during the persecutions. During their long rule the Ottomans had built numerous mosques, madrasas, caravanserais, bath-houses and other types of buildings. According to current research, around 20,000 buildings of all sizes have been documented in official Ottoman registers.[96] However very few survives of this Ottoman heritage in most of the Balkan countries.[97] Most of the Ottoman era mosques of the Balkans have been destroyed and from the ones still standing at least their minarets. Before the Habsburg conquest, Osijek had 8–10 mosques none of which remain today.[98] During the Balkan wars there were cases of desecration, destruction of mosques and Muslim cemeteries.[98] Of the 166 Madrasas in the Ottoman Balkans in the 17th century only 8 remain and 5 of them are near Edirne.[96] The amount of destruction was 95–98%.[96] The same is also valid for other types of buildings, such as markethalls, caravanserais and baths.[96] From a chain of caravanserais across the Balkans only one is preserved while there are vague ruins of four others.[96] There were in the area of Negroponte in 1521: 34 large and small mosques, 6 hamams, 10 schools, 6 dervish convents. Today only the ruin of one hamam remains.[96]

Armeni nisu isli u Ankaru i Istanbul ubijati Turke.
