Zasto ce kandidatima intenzivan tecaj engleskoj jezika, ako moraju tecno govoriti engleski? :?
Pa mislim da je teško za očekivati da neki profesor iz BiH, iz gore pomenutih predmeta, zna dobro engleski. Pretpostavljam da se tu radi o kandidatima koji imaju solidno poznavanje engleskog jezika, a na tom tečaju bi ga usavršavali. recimo takav je slučaj kod mene. Inače meni je ovo dosta primamljivo i mislim da ću poslati CV, pa šta bude.
PS Ima li iko kakvih informacija o ovoj školi. Bio sam već na njihovoj stranici, ali mene više interesuju informacije iz prve ruke.

ja sam jednom pričala s likom koji studira na ovom koledžu i fakat me interesovalo kako to funkcioniše. jedino što sam saznala je da ih je malo u grupama i da su predavanja na engleskom :D on izgledaše zadovoljan

Western Balkans Programme to Fight HIV and AIDS



Purpose of the Position: Lead a multi-disciplinary team in five countries to implement Partnerships in Health’s HIV and AIDS Prevention, Treatment, care and support Programme (Phase II)



Location: Sarajevo , Bosnia & Herzegovina with extensive regional travel within the five participating countries in the region



Duration: 1 year, with possibility of extension



Reporting to: Dr. Bettina Schwethelm, Fondation PH Suisse - Partnerships in Health





Because “good health is a fundamental resource for social and economic development[1],” as well as an inalienable right, Fondation PH (FPH), a Swiss NGO, is dedicated to building critical health knowledge and skills through health education and training of the primary care providers. In partnership with the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia , FPH assists local institutions to build their capacity and achieve sustainable improvements in the quality of basic and essential health services. Our projects are improving the lives of women, children, and other vulnerable populations.



The FPH Phase I Western Balkans Programme to Fight HIV/AIDS included prevention, treatment, care and support activities. It reached members of the high risk groups via the NGO Trust Fund by supporting the activities and strengthening the capacities of local NGOs by directly accessing these populations. It also supported the establishment of voluntary and confidential counselling and testing centres, with particular attention to reduce barriers related to gender inequity and the creation and strengthening of PLHIV NGOs.



FPH has trained more than 3,500 primary health care providers in four countries in early diagnosis, workplace safety, HIV and AIDS knowledge, and stigma and discrimination reduction by the end of 2006. In its regional training for infectious diseases specialists and clinical practica, FPH has contributed to the improvement of the services and support for PLWHA.



The Phase II programme was designed with the help of the local partners and programme staff with the goal to slow down the HIV epidemics in the Western Balkans by creating an enabling environment that strengthens HIV resilience through the engagement of multiple sector partners.





Key Responsibilities



Overall accountability for management and technical quality of this regional programme to Foundation PH Suisse - Partnerships in Health and the Swedish International Development Agency
Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary, multi-country team to achieve the programme goals
Ensure the day-to day management and coordination of project activities for timely quality implementation of the programme
Ensure effective project management systems (finance, planning, M&E, etc.) are in place and working effectively
Together with the Country Directors/Coordinat ors, liaise with ministries of health and education, national AIDS committees, and key agencies working in HIV and AIDS
Assure balance and coordination across the various components of the programme
Assure that all programme activities are linked with the national HIV and AIDS strategic plan and programme
Liaise with international agencies, such as WHO, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNICEF, etc., which are assisting countries in establishing protocols and resources for HIV prevention or treatment and management of AIDS
Provide oversight to the development of annual and quarterly work plans and coordinate the preparation of regular progress reports to main stakeholders in each country and for the region
Regular financial monitoring as well as approval of project activity budget and expenditures. Prepare regular reports on project inputs utilization, on progress and achievements within the project implementation. Include documentation of cost-effectiveness and co-financing of each activities
Review and approve monthly financial report jointly with the Field Finance Officer.
Promote regional collaboration and exchange of lessons-learned
Promote the accomplishments of the project at country and the regional levels, including through written documentation, professional presentations, regularly updating the Programme website, etc.
Contribute to fundraising proposals for additional program needs
Undertake any other duties as requested by FPH Project Team and FPH Head Office.






Qualifications

MPH, doctoral preparations in Public Health, M.D., advanced degree in nursing or social sciences
Substantial experience in working in HIV and AIDS
At least 5 years of experience in managing a complex programme and a team with considerable educational and cultural diversity at the field level
Working experience in developing country settings; working experience in the Balkans is an asset
Understanding of budgets and financial documents
Experience of working with governmental, non-governmental and United Nations agencies
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and solve problems
Ability to adapt and work in a variety of cultural settings
Excellent English written and verbal skills

The desirable candidate will fulfill following the following criteria:



- At least 5 years experience in similar positions

- Experience in print and/or new media essential

- Experience in broadcast media, especially radio, desirable

- Well versed knowledge of international criminal procedures and domestic legal system especially regarding war crimes trials

- Analytical skills

- Excellent English language skills

- Advanced computer literacy

- University education

- Able to work alone and as part of a team as well as in the environment of diverse ethnic backgrounds
