Ja sam ti ortodoxni kveker, al nema veze tu smo negdje. A fazon kvekera koliko sam ja skonto da oni nemaju ni svećenika (pa ni hodža ), ni vjerskih obreda. Baš im je fino. Ja bih i u stvarnosti mogo preć na ovo.

A da tema ne bude samo šprdancija, na nedavnom primjeru kada sam se slučajno upoznavao sa nekim drugim religijama i posramio se mojim neznanjem, je li problem da izaberete jednu religiju/životni stav i o tome napišete ukratko? Naročito ono što nije općepoznato u BIH?

Sikizam (ili sikhizam) je religija nastala u Indiji u kontekstu sukoba doktrine hinduizma i islama. Pripadnici ove vjere se zovu siki (ili sikhi). Riječ sikh na punjabi jeziku znači „učenik“.

Osnovna doktrina u sikhizmu je vjerovanje u jednog Boga i bazira se prije svega na učenju deset gurua koja su sakupljena u svetu knjigu sikha po nazivu Guru Granth Sahib. U sikhizmu se primijeti kombinacija monoteističkih elemenata iz islama sa hinduskim tradicijama.

Većina sika živi u Indiji.

Manmohan Singh je postao prvi sikh koji je postao premijer Indije.

Osnvač sikizma, Guru Nanak, se rodio 1469. godine u hinduskoj porodici na sjeveroistoku Indije. Nakon četiri putovanja na sve četiri strane svijeta (Tibet, Šri Lanka, Bengal, te Mekka i Bagdad), Guru Nanak je počeo propovijedati novu religiju i brzo se oko njega skupila grupa sikha (učenika). Po njegovim učenjima, religija je zamišljena kao veza između ljudi, mada je vremenom postala razlog za sukob među ljudima. U ovom smislu, Guru Nanak je prije svega bio protiv sukoba između hindusa i muslimana te se također protivio ritualnim praktikama koje su ljude odvajale od osnove duhovne potrage za Bogom. Guru Nanak je pokušao stvoriti religiju koja bi prevazišla razlike između hinduizma i islama i odatle dolazi i njegova čuvena izjava: „nema hindusa, nema muslimana“.

Doktrina koju je propovijedao Guru Nanak je kao osnovu imala autoritet jedinog Boga, Stvoritelja. Guru Nanak za Boga koristio izraz „pravo ime“ jer nije htio koristiti nikakvo konkretno ime. Po tome je Pravo Ime jedan i jedini Bog, suveren i svemoćan, iako može imati različita imena.

Guru Nanak je također uveo koncept maya („iluzije“). Po njemu mi vidimo ovaj svijet kao da je realan, ali je realnost ustvari samo Bog. Materijalni svijet je po tome jedino iluzija koja sprečava mnoge ljude zarobljene u materijalnom shvatanju da shvate jedinu pravu istinu - Boga. Sikhizam ipak zadržava hindusko učenje o reinkarnaciji, iako uči da ljudi mogu napustiti ciklus ponovnog rođenja ukoliko kroz dobra djela zadobiju blagonaklonost Boga.

Sikh vjernici uz sebe uvijek moraju nositi sljedećih pet predmeta:

* Kesh: duga kosa i brada koje se ne smiju sijeći
* Khanga: mali češalj kojim se kupi kosa
* Kara: metalna narukvica
* Kacha: široke gaće koje omogućavaju neometanu borbu
* Kirpan: mali bodež ili mač koji se ranije koristio u ceremonijalne svrhe. Kirpan simbolizira snagu i slobodu duha, samopoštovanje, te stalnu borbu dobra i morala protiv nepravde. Kirpan se ne smije koristiti za napad ali je dozvoljena njegova upotreba za samoodbranu ili za zaštitu trećih lica.
