#1 'Urban Istraživanje' Fotografije

Post by kachangas » 28/03/2013 00:34

Pozdrav svima! :D :bih:

Mjesta smo posjetiti su napuštene zgrade (tvornice, bolnice, itd.), podzemne odvodne i tunela (kanalizacije, culverted rijeke, itd.) i napuštene rudnike (kamenolomi i sl.)

:( :skoljka:

Original message in English:
Hello everyone!
I am a traveller who visits Bosnia regularly.
Apart from the usual 'tourist' photography I am also very much interested in urban exploration photography, which I think Bosnia has a lot to offer in that respect.

For those who does not know what 'urban exploration' is, it is basically about exploring man-made structures in the urban environment that are usually forgotten, abandoned or little visited.
Often we take photographs in these seldom visited urban places to document that specific period of decay of a building in it's lifetime.
Places we visit include abandoned buildings (factories, hospitals, etc.), underground drains and tunnels (sewers, culverted rivers, etc.) and abandoned mines (quarries etc.)

It is a hobby especially for those who are interested in urban infrastructures, history and photography, alongside a sense of adventure.
You can read more about 'urban exploration' here at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_exploration

Anyway, I am wondering if anyone is interested in exploring these abandoned/underground sites together the next time I visit Sarajevo/Bosnia? Or if anyone has any good recommendations about interesting sites that I should visit?
I have been doing urban exploration photography for a couple of years now, and I had managed to visit the Jajce Kasarna and the old bobsleigh track while I was in Bosnia this month.

If you are interested in what urban exploration photos I have taken they are here at http://www.flickr.com/photos/chan_kawin ... 940276658/

DoradO, I am wondering if you will be interested in 'underground' photography too.
(especially about culverts, sewers, drains, abandoned tunnels and mines, which are my specialty :D

I have all the equipment (E.g. helmet, torches, waders, gas detectors so I can just bring them along next time!)

Some of my photos:

@DoradO
