Mislim da nije poenta što su Seltiksi mrvicu donji, nego što su izravnom rivalu dali ponudu kakvu niko drugi u ligi nije planirao složiti.

a što bi bio loš? s bilo kakvim realnim trejdom da se pojača ekipa sad, oni su opet lošiji od cavsa, i to dobro. a cavsi od golden statea. ako nije realno da se sad stvarno napadne titula, a nije jer imaš dva super tima - potpuno je pravilno da gledaju u budućnost iza ove sezone. jebiga takav je salary cap sistem. da napravi kratkoročni trejd, zajebao bi se za dalje, a i dalje bi trebalo čudo da osvoji titulu.

Ovako da daju Kajriju taj njegov maksimalni i nije loše samo je pitanje kakvi ce biti ovu sezonu i da li ce mu se ostajat ako bude losa.

Zavisi kako gledas na to, zna se ko je bio gazda kad je trebalo osvojiti prvenstvo i na koga se islo kad se trebala izvuci ova godina mada nije uspjelo.

Itekako je jaci. Crowder je prejak igrac. Pravo dobar u defanzivac, a pogadja kad je sam. Zizic totalno suprotan igrac od tristana i sigurno bolji u napadu, sto ce donijeti raznovrsnosti. Rose ako ostane zdrav dat ce svoj doprinos, a i generalno klupa im je bolja (jer ce neko iz startne preseliti na klupu). A Thomas i Irving su tu negdje. U necemu je bolji jedan u necemu drugi. Obojicu se mora kriti u odbrani, doduse Thomasa malo vise zbog visine, ali tu je to negdje. Ja mislim da bi Cavsi pristali na ovaj trade da je Boston ponudio i bez irvingovih egzibicija. Jos pick bonusa, ito od Netsa.

Eo komentar sa jednog foruma koji onako najbolje pokriva sve tačke čitavog trejda. Još bi samo dodao da je IT financijska obaveza od sljedeće godine kad će sigurno tražiti max (ili near max):

I think the pick definitely makes this a bit worse, but overall, I think it was a good trade for both sides and for both players. Cavs get a guy who can run the offense while LeBron sits. If Lue can stagger IT/LeBron's minutes right, I think the Cavs get something good out of this. One of their biggest issues last year was the offense falling apart without LeBron. Part of that was the fact that the team was so strongly built around LeBron's skillset, but it also had to do with Kyrie's deficiencies as a playmaker. All due respect to Kyrie, but thats just not his game, especially on a team built around another guy's skillset. With IT, they can trust that the offense won't fall apart as bad without LeBron. Defensively they didn't get better but at least now with their ability to stagger minutes, IT can play more against bench lineups where his deficiencies can be hidden better. Not to mention, they got Crowder too so that can definitely help their defense (they've really lacked a wing defender since LeBron's return).

As for the Celtics, they got Kyrie who is younger than IT (3 years IIRC). They got championship experience and a guy who has proven that he knows how to close when the lights are brightest. He's the perfect complement to the Celtics and their "competitive rebuilding" in that he is still young with plenty of good years left but also brings plenty of experience with him. He fits their timeline better in that he is already a experienced and proven (though he still has much left to prove) superstar who can help develop/grow with the celtics young pieces and be a franchise player, but is young enough that he'll still be in his prime (and likely at his peak) when they start hitting their stride in the league. People don't realize how rare it is to have a guy like that on the trade market on the contract he's on with 2 years left on his contract. He is not much better of a defender, but at the very least, his size makes him easier to hide than IT. There are question marks about his ability to move the ball and play within the system Stevens has laid out, but I think that he will cherish the opportunity to play for a coach who is more than just a lebron puppet. People don't realize that his problem wasn't being Robin to LeBron, but just the way that everything in Cleveland revolved around LeBron to the point where he got all the credit for everything good and none of the blame for anything wrong. He wont have to worry about that in Boston. Plus he'll have the chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong.

So overall, I think it was more or less a win-win. The pick makes me second guess myself on that, but I still think that both franchises got what they needed. Not to mention, homer bias aside, stranger things have happened in the league the last few years than the Nets making the playoffs in this year's weak East so the pick might not even be as valuable as some make it out to be (I don't expect the playoffs for the Nets but with the state of the East, I am not counting them out, considering they have no incentive to tank and have guys with chips on their shoulders to prove something).

boston ili bilo ko drugi ko hoće da zaprijeti, mora ili napraviti svoj super tim ili čekati da se ova dva raspadnu. ako se ne bi, lupam, povrijedili lebron, durant i curry svi odjednom. pošto nema karte da ga pravi sad ovo ljeto, sa ovim sistemom je jedino razumno da gleda dalje u budućnost.

Konačno, Irving je Celtic i službeno, morali smo još dati jedan 2nd rounder, to je o.k...go green
(p.s...jesam li prije pola godine rekao da IT neće dugo biti Celtic...to prije ozlijede), e tek sad rebuilding je over...sad ima nade i za više
